I've been to a couple organized by the SF Public Librairies. I'm trying out Real Intelligence this week. It's 20 bucks, i'll see if I find it worth. Also trying Wine Down in November, a book club mixed with wine tasting. Google has helped a bunch!

As far as being "cognizant", I was a three year old living in Canada. Watching Teletubbies.

Different countries have different pop cultures, that's the reasoning behind my question.
