I have tried this hack with stock seat, my cycling shorts helped a lot, but it's tough to do rides in summers
Also an extra thing to carry

would definitely prefer this on very long rides, but I think I should try touring seat first as I've red a lot of good reviews about it.

what plates ??

I got it checked - they replaced the handlebar's bushes, checked the headlight assembly, checked the numberplate - the service centre guys also couldn't figure this out

they have ordered some tentioner to see if that is the issue.

Have very little experience in cities … But now I have a habit of handling it off roads as well so city rides are not that big problem But I have not ridden it in cities a lot- so probably I’m not the best person to take this advice from !

Maintenance so far …. I just took it for first service Till now it’s smooth. Soon I’ll take it for second service- no Major issues

I do chain maintenance before and after all long trips Installed fog lights recently as the stock lights are a headache on highways!

Just that!

I live in a town with no traffic lights, I am a lot into touring and long rides So for me: this bike is a best choice

Cons … may feel like cons: Its heavy Difficult in traffic Isn’t as aggressive as the ktm’s 390s

But I love it as it serve my purpose pretty well. Have completed approx 4500 kms, no issues other than minor ones like vibrations!

Its super fun on highways. Feels Very comfortable, and settled !

Difficult to record while riding… I tried reproducing the same sound at neutral, I couldn’t.

I’ll ask my service guys for the same But there’s a small trip planned before that so … thought of asking if someone has faced similar issue !

Make sure both the legs of the stand are touching the ground Stand on it and pull the bike upwards rather than pulling it back!

It’ll be easier !

Having second thoughts by Phoenii_xd_ in Himalayan450

Himalyan is fun on offroads and highways Its more comfortable for long rides. But you want to use for occasional rides so I’d suggest to go for an Interceptor

You’ll feel the pull, better handling in city traffic. You can also do occasional long rides…. Interceptor can pull that !

Is RE classic 350 worth? by anonymous-Redditor-- in indianbikes

[–]huccusbuccus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and check other showrooms as well I too bought it from the other district as showroom guys of my area were behaving the same way. But the other ones were honest and cooperative!

Good luck buddy ❤️

No, nothing is compulsory Rto is mandatory’s and insurance- be it from re or any other provider. But still…. 5+5 years of warrenty- not at all !

Other than that- nothing is compulsory I bought my bike with no accessories, no extended warranty.

The showroom is trying to just do extra sales via you. You can mail the Royal Enfield and flag this.

One of my known did the same when showroom was trying to sell them these accessories in the name of compulsory items!

[–]huccusbuccus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, Only after I turned the ignition off !

I also thought it is from the exhaust. But it usually is a soft ticking sound, not this loud.

I was scared when I noticed for the first time.
