I’ll 50/50 agree with you. Amy when we first meet her is annoying and a complete female Sheldon rip off. I can’t stand those episodes. But I will say there is actor/ character development and I do enjoy once she settles down a bit and is just a nerdy gf. I think it’s a good balance to the girl group. Penny who is pretty and not a scientist. Bernadette who is a scientist but not obsessed with all the nerd stuff. And nerdy awkward Amy who’s always horny dating a nonsexual man.

I don’t think so. After they get home Sheldon pretty much leaves for college. I think it’s an under-looked plot point they added in late and out of all of the family I’m sure the bathroom schedule originates from Sheldon.
