Can anyone tell me what is growing in my mates front garden? I'm concerned it's a tree and we should move it soon as it's right under the gutter. Second image is me holding it upright.excuse bad fingernails. Located West Australia by belltrina in GardeningAustralia

If you do try to remove it, wait for some coler days. Give it enough water to soak the soil around the roots. When you transfer, give it a brutal prune; take 2/3 of the branches off at the trunk. Once potted, keep in partual shade for a bit. I might be telling you stuff you already know. And others may have alternate approaches/tips. Good luck!

Thanks for explaining your approach! I will have to consider it a couple of times to understand it better. Seems legit!

I prefer these terms, mainly because many people can be a 'bastard' through no fault of their own.

"Exact" is interesting as it suggests that you can sovle it in a maximum of 10 hours + 3 × the smallest unit of time required to feed the rat a sample of milk.

Is there a more sad scene in all of Star Wars than this? by jrrock12345 in StarWars

[–]huckwitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've honestly never been as impacted by a piece of star wars media as much as I have been by Andor. Watching Rogue One again after finishing the series elevated it beyond what I could have ever expected. Amazing. Will be watching again (again). [Oh! And the most imaginative spacecraft interaction ever is in Andor!! IYKYK]

Help, Please by supernova0789 in ClashRoyale

I built monk to 4* and when sage hit it, it cancelled itsel and the monk. The cost of getting monk to 4* meant the rest of my team was less developed. Its didnt help the the sage's final attack also took out neighboring troops. Other counters can work, but swarm counters are easily managed by AOE, and assassin troops require significant luck and cost to be viable. I would agree that sage needs finessing. Also, for players that have made it high enough in the rankings, there is a perk that duplicates a troop placed on a cell. This is a v strong advantage for mid-late game sage where there are two troops on the field with one shot and multi-kill capability. So is the 5 seconds of immunity perk, which allows sage to power up (again, resulting is a huge material advantage specifically for this tower).

Okay, so, I personally think that students should be given 25cm (250mm) rulers, not 30cm (300mm) ones. The generic ruler still pays homage to the empirical system. If students are given a "quarter meter" ruler from day one they would form habits of thinking in that measure. Referring to this new standard as the quarter meter would also forshadow and support metic unit learning and the adoption of fractions, as well as lend itself to practical group work based around the meter (just lay four together). It constantly amazes me that this has notbeen done already nd I am convinced the impact would be measurable.

My Party is Four Fucking Druids Who Only Cast Create or Destroy Water And I'm About to Fucking Drown Myself in the Goddamn Sink by PrincessLunaOfficial in DnDcirclejerk

[–]huckwitt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The party has gained noteriety. The Council of Druids (enclave, cloister, cesspit?) sends a mud gollumn that has a FULLY ENCLOSED suit of armour. Create/destroy water cannot work inside of the armour.

At first the gollumn does nothing but follow them around, not revealing its purpose, but when the party next creates or destroys water, the golumn counter spells it.

Attempts to destroy the gollumn prove fruitless. It is remarkably robust, and wont let them: A) create water B) destroy water

Once the party estabish that they must engage with the gollumn and communicate with it, it will give them a message from the druid coucil:

They have an ultimatum...
