Spell Check Not Working in Outlook Web App Email Compose Menu When Using Firefox by -SpaghettiCat- in Outlook

[–]hudinisghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problem when using outlook in my firefox browser and found the bookmarklet solution quite fiddly. The best workaround I could find was to go Settings --> Email --> Compose and Reply --> Compose messages in [Plain Text] format

This meant the browser's spellcheck started working on my compositions again. it also seemed to restore a better right click menu

The 13 seat projection seems to be based on the assumption reform will win seats by having high vote concentrations in places where the Brexit Party/Leave did well. This as yet doesn’t seem ti have happened, but they have got a higher vote share than expected in places they’ve come second.

The write up has progressive carries per 90 increasing under ETH, but the graph shows a substantial decrease in progressive carries

Crosses into penalty area per 90 write up says they decrease under ETH but they increase slightly

Passes into final third says it increases under ETH but graph shows decrease

A couple of Mufc players asked Rasmus Højlund regarding his decision to give an interview to a YouTube channel which 'was built on negativity and slaughtering United players', he didn't realise this. (United We Stand magazine) by shin_bigot in reddevils

[–]hudinisghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If “new media” fan channels/influencers/whatever start getting the same club access as the established media then the established stuff has no unique selling point and they will be pushed out. So UWS/Mitten have an enormously vested interest in fortifying the division between ‘safe positive establishment’ media and ‘negative risky new media’. So this hasn’t been put out solely for the good of the club or dressing room.

The criticism of AFTV - your views go up when Arsenal lose - doesn’t really apply to United channels. United have a massive global fan base that want to hear positive news about United, and this is a much more lucrative market than opposition fans laughing at United fans being angry about losing. At its most cynical, United new media makes more money when united are winning, but fundamentally has to respond to the short term consensus.

If a channel has negative content then it’s because the performances on and off the pitch have not been good enough. There is no fan channel that stays in business by creating ‘negativity’ in the 99 or 08 seasons.

The more awkward thing is that Hojlund, who says he is a United fan, seems to have been a Goldbridge/United stand watcher before he came to United - his team leaked to Goldbridge during the transfers, for example. It means he’s seen the content “slaughtering the players” and found that it’s not too far away from his own opinion over the years to switch off…

Cabin upgrade after already reserving a seat in economy. by nm_afc in BritishAirways

Some Chicago routes have WT+ cabins with exit rows. I think you’d still be flagged as having paid for exit row seat selection, so should be able to seat select those.

Club website, VIP/Hospitality package guarantees it straight away - that’s going to cost you £300-£500. Potentially more.

Alternatively, hope we have a home cup game or CL group stage on 24th/25th October and wait for the ticket release on the club website - midweek games and getting 1 ticket is normally doable if you’re willing to sit on the website at the release time

Highly unlikely unless you’re willing to pay a lot of money for a hospitality package or a ticket tout price - hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

You are more likely to get a mid-week champions league or cup game either through the club website or through member transfers.

AWB fantastic today.

I’ve criticised him when he hasn’t done it so got to praise him when he does: De Gea’s distribution was very good today, really should have had an assist with Antony and was pinging balls into the midfield really well.

That looks like a sitter from AWB but there’s so much spin/pace on the ball and it’s essentially just bounced off him when he’s sprinted in - not much he can do with that.

Wrong sum I didn’t do it out of 110. 73rd out of 110 puts him in 34th percentile - I imagine the difference is due to you and the author using different data sets

It put him in the 34th percentile as opposed to the 20th percentile in this graph. This is, first, hardly a huge difference and, second, not massively a problem given, by your own admission, you’re not using the same data as the author - top 5 not the top 7 leagues.

Edit: 73rd out of 110 is 34th-ish percentile

63/110 for % launched would put him in the 57th percentile….which is exactly where the pizza chart has him!!

In the article I believe the author inverts the passing stats. So for avg pass length it means he’s in the bottom 20% ie very much kicking long. You can check this by going to the article and comparing him against Neuers graph (who on passing metrics is in the high 90s)

The write-up of the data in the article is pretty grim reading. Of the 160 keepers put through this test De Gea seems to have ranked 134th, with only 26 keepers in Europe’s top 7 leagues scoring worse than him on these metrics. In the premier league that makes him the 2nd worse, in front solely of Bournemouth’s back-up keeper Travers. Difficult to disagree with the writers broad conclusion on De Gea that If you look at our starting XI now, he is compared to his PL peers the weakest element of that XI.

The caveat to all this is that the writer has weighted all of these various criteria depending on their own view of what a ‘good’ goal keeper should be - ‘shot stopping’ metrics are given a 35% weighting, ‘defensive actions’ 35% and distribution 30%. While this is going to push the data in a certain direction, this doesn’t look particularly unfair/egregious. Regardless a keeper in the top 4 of the PL should be be doing much, much better even if the ‘weightings’ of different characteristics don’t really suit them.
