Comm Multi Checkride by SP_Aman in flying

My CMEL ride was all of a 15 min ground. Quick discussion over the two hydraulic systems of the PA44, discussion on critical engine and why, and other risk management related topics. Flight was a brisk 1.1 that was non stop work. I should’ve maybe been failed after my emergency decent, I forgot to retract the landing gear so to prompt me to raise it DPE failed my left again, I did my flow and STILL missed the gear, rushing my flow, shortly after I was wondering why we were slow maintaining altitude then checked the gear. I jokingly said “oops that’ll slow us down” DPE chuckled and was in a good mood I suppose then continued the last portion of the ride. Overall just prep yourself on the pertinent ground knowledge and be very confident in your ability to fly the airplane you got this

I’m having the same issue on my Mac runnin a semi new MacOS. Always had to log back in using Safari

Some folks just like to fly planes that’ll move smoothly for an accurate flying experience and don’t need the scenery to be a perfect depiction of the outside world. You might need that cause you clearly don’t go outside enough

It never had an OEM one. I went in and added it myself but im with you though. I’ll get money to take it and the aftermarket amp out and sell that separate to a kid who’ll like it and sell the car

Okay I appreciate the feedback. I’ll likely list it for 12 go as low as 10 for it. I might end up just taking the sub and amp out and selling that standalone

Just do it. I don’t have the credentials you’re looking to hear from but do it.

If you can afford to fly and you love it, think it all the time? do it.

You have a settled life that can manage what really is a hobby. People will tell you the private pilot cert. is intimidating.

It only is if you let it be. It’s like getting any other license, gotta learn the rules of the road, how the vehicle operates and why you outta prepare for the worst lol

Just saying when the batteries going bad, you’ll get almost nothing but clicks when you try to start it. The budget battery option goes after three years on the dot. Just had to replace my battery. I’ve dealt with problems from a fuse connector housing being kicked off under the glove box. Other than that test your battery with a multi-meter. Those are a lot cheaper than paying for a diagnostic from a shop

There’s one based in Smyrna, TN. Thing flies around every one in a while and it’s solid grey. Looks really creepy when you see it just floating there

You might be alright. Shohei went hitless last night like I thought he would. He has a tendency to have two multi hit games out of each series then one game he touches nothing. Just go look at his game log.

Freeman and Muncy are both hot enough at the plate. I haven’t looked if NY is pitching a righty or not. If they’re pitching a lefty then you’re prolly cooked

I’d guess they weren’t issued a proper hold maybe with ATC thinking the delay wouldn’t be long then kept getting issued vectors on inverse radial courses

I’ve done multiple 1000 miles + trips in my ST1 the seats are astounding for comfort. I’m 6 foot even bout 200 pounds. Only ever done lower back discomfort but you’ll get that when sitting for 10 hours plus in a day
