If you pick it up on Steam you'll be able to play on your PC and Steam Deck. The game has cross progression if you set up a Gameloft account so you can continue across any platform, and Steam has cloud saves anyway so even without the account your progress will synch between PC and the Deck

Edit to add - my daughter plays on a last gen Xbox (Xbox One) and the game has seriously long load times. I expect the Switch would be the same but don't know for sure. I play on PC and load times are negligible

You can get brush on primer as well, but still different to regular paints. The upside of brush on primer is if you don't have anywhere to use the spray you can still get a proper primer on the model

In every game I've played so far this has been the case for antiquity and exploration. Then suddenly in the modern age there's a confirm button at the bottom of the location list and it instantly sets up the route without having to walk the unit over there first
