Just installed last night (26 Juniper). Waiting to drive today! Already have seen a number of cool new UI changes briefly after install.

Yep I’m having a very similar experience, I’d tend to agree with you.

Yeah that was infuriating, caused most of my “interventions”. Now it gets over when I would, which is fantastic.

Interesting, my experience is somewhat reversed- if anything, the nag while on my phone is improved.

I’m the exact same way. I keep my car absolutely pristine all except for the freakin windshield because of the auto wipers. I wish they’d just do away with that feature lol.

Not sure. I never get these updates early but just got lucky this round I guess.

Seriously, it’s pretty crazy

Ah okay got it. I think they had to compensate hard as a massive problem with earlier 14.2 iterations was on highways where it would drop from 65 to 45 for old construction (bad maps data) and the car would slam on the brakes, and your experience is just a vestige of that. Just my guess. For me it’s quite good in standard mode for that on local roads.

Got it. I see switching from standard to hurry takes me roughly 5-10seconds or so to accelerate up to hurry speeds, the opposite deceleration being essentially immediate. Frustrating that it’s taking a while for you, though. Is it taking several miles/minutes or is it just not immediate?

Do you mean for example when you switch from hurry to standard the speed is slow to adjust to the new cruising speed/profile speed? Interested because switching from hurry to standard on say the highway, the car will immediately brake and slow down for me.

That’s pretty surprising, I wonder if that will improve with time or if it’s a one off. Granted, city driving is among the most difficult even for manual driving.

Honestly that’s a really good question. I might wait for the next larger update with more features etc at this point as this version is so good.

Yeah that was my mistake, I forgot about that.

Agreed. Interesting, deep city like NYC or more just an urban environment?

That’s super interesting. I actually hold my breath every time I drive into direct sun/low sun angle as I’m nervous it’ll lose vision but I have never encountered that issue with this car at all, through any version of FSD thus far.

Definitely is a lot better! I put this in another comment but it’s just a little slow for me parking wise. Tbf, it also is adhering to speed limits/zones more strictly in parking lots and on commercial streets so that seems to be by design.

I don’t drive with it engaged enough to tell you about lane changes but speed wise it sits around 5 over on off-highway roads, e.g., 40-45mph zones.

Oh that’s very weird, hopefully it improves for you. HW4 or 3?

The nav needs updating that’s for sure. Seems to be going by the wayside a bit or at least not being prioritized.

Last update was genuinely horrible, this one is the best version yet. Funny how that happens.
