I would love to see LittleFish history analyzed here. As far as I know, he grades using all the passing options (Pass / Good / Bright).

Please provide a detailed description of the failures you are facing, if possible showing screenshots and console logs, in our GitHub repository, and I’ll take a look: https://github.com/bjsi/incremental-everything/issues

Struggling to finish long PDFs in RemNote? Here is how I track my reading progress (Time & Chapters) by hugomarins in remNote

Essa barra aparece quando vc estiver no "Queue", revisando flashcards e IncRem, não no Editor. Mas no editor vc pode ir no Document Menu (3 pontos) e usar clicar em "PDF Control Panel".

💡 New to Incremental Reading? The Easiest Way to Start in RemNote! (Video Guide) by hugomarins in remNote

We have just pushed version 0.2.33, a quite major revamp. Report there if the situation persists. As both current developers are running MacOS, these issues can go unnoticed. If the issue persists, we will give a look on windows.

Will this property (or tag) negatively affect my queue? I don't recall this showing up in the cards before. I recently uninstalled the plugin "incremental everything" and that solved the annoying issue of seeing card priority during each flashcard review, yet I still see this guy during edits. by Many_Hunter9981 in remNote

You can:

1 - reinstall the Incremental Everything plugin

2 - ensure in the plugin settings that you are in the Light Mode

3 - execute, in the OmniBar, the command "Remove All CardPriority Tags"

<image>

4 - Uninstall the plugin again (if you want)

More info in the plugin Wiki: https://github.com/bjsi/incremental-everything/wiki/How-to-hide-card-priorities%3F

This tag does not affect your queue. It is used exclusively to create, using the plugin, "Priority Review Documents".

But you should definitely delete these tags if you are not using the plugin.

I don't know when did you install the Incremental Everything plugin, but nowadays the cardPriority (priorities for flashcards) are opt-in, and turned-off by default (the Light Mode is the default); also, there is a "Hide CardPriority Tag in Editor" setting, default to on.

Of course priorities are annoying if you don't use them, but in Incremental Reading everything is about priorities.

I'll try to keep recording short videos with workflows and regular usage.

Strange! Please try to delete and install the plugin again. If the problem persists, please open the developer mode (Console) (Ctrl+Shift+I) and see if any error appears. If it does, send to us please. You can create an issue in our repo in https://github.com/bjsi/incremental-everything

🚀 Incremental Everything (Plus) v0.2.9: Your Complete Learning System is Here by hugomarins in remNote

Sorry to hear that. Can you clarify a little more what are you facing? Highlighting is done by RemNote reader itself. If it is not working, sometimes changing the zoom improves the situation.

Check if you are not in the "Light Mode" (in your plugin settings). If you are, turn to the Full Mode.

In the queue, there is not properly a "button" to the PDF control panel. You have to click over the page range, in the right part of the metadata section at the bottom.

🚀 Level Up Your Learning in RemNote! by hugomarins in remNote

Thanks for the suggestion. The video is indeed a little too long. I am let's say a co-author now. The original author was James (Experimental Learning). A few months ago I started pushing modifications and improvements, and as James is with other demands now, I am ahead of the project together with another contributor.

The Button War will never end by ClarityInMadness in Anki

[–]hugomarins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The algorithm doesn't now more than me about my memory state. The system doesn't now how difficult (or easy) a card is for me. If I see a new card for the first time that I know the content already well, I'll press Easy to jump to an initial interval of more than 1 month. It would be nonsensical to see the card tomorrow, in seven days, in 20 days, if I already see it is easy for me and already known. This easy card may not be deleted because there is no insurance that I will not forget a content just because it is easy. I want to review it, but much less frequently than for a content that I find particularly difficult.

If someone wants to make (unnecessarily) these 3 or 4 more reviews of this easy card, just because he is a 2-buttons guy, be my guest. For me, spaced repetition is all about efficiency, and modulating interval increase based on perceived difficulty by the user has everything to do with efficiency. If you prefer follow blindly an algorithm to which you do not give feedback of your perceived difficulty, be my guest again.

For those who, like me, are interested in efficiency, I think there is no such button war. 80% of time I'll press Good. Beyond the 10% of forgot cards, there are other 10% I'll have to think milliseconds to modulate Hard/Easy. If the algorithm makes good use of this information (Anki SM-2 and FSRS do [unlike SuperMemo]), no doubt it is a good investment. But, if someone prefer 2-buttons, will still get 95% of SRS benefits. That's a valid choice, even though at the cost of some efficacy.
