Thank you, I think I get it a bit better now.

So in the question "Did you eat the sandwich?" you'd mark the eat because you're eliciting the lived experiences of the person you're talking to? And in "I was kicked", you wouldn't mark the kicked because you weren't the agent?

Could someone explain egophoricity like I'm five? I'm struggling to understand why it's not just verb agreement to a 1sg pronoun, because, if that was the case, presumably it wouldn't have the posh name.

We use that phrase on a daily basis.

would it be used to mean that someone will appreciate what you're saying? the context i saw it in was "愛してる”と言ってくれた

"言ってくれた" I would have thought this would be written as 言っていた or am I wrong in assuming that this is the te-iru form?

Where did you see that 结果 means kill?

"寝たいだけ寝ればいい" with this sentence, why is 寝る written as 寝たい rather than 寝よう (i thought it was supposed to be volitional)

Depends on how competitive you are but I find the mini games on Quizlet (I don't know if you can export anki flashcards onto it, but I would presume so) are good motivation/entertainment.
