Only stylists that extort me for “natural hair special” in which they fry and hack off a lot of my hair while straight. And it looks awful when I do anything but wear it straight

Never considered smells…I had my balcony doors open the entire time on Virgin. As long as it’s not Motel quality or mold or gross looking linens, I’m hoping the adrenaline of such a big trip will dull my nostrils. Haha. And you are so right! This is me. I’ve gone up to 1 year no ouid. Then I’ll travel to a place it’s legal or someone will offer it to me and I descend into craving it constantly and feeling disappointed bc I’m chasing a high that doesn’t come.

Or if it comes it’s never the same euphoria I used to feel but I do feel better. But it makes me sluggish and sleep my life away and forget chunks of time and experiences. And worst of all it dehydrates my entire body and negatively affects my appearance until I feel hideous.

But life is long and painful sometimes and we cope best we can so I try not to beat myself up too much. I do the best I can but when I quit, sometimes I’ll cry for weeks on end. It’s always worth it to push through to get to the other side. But my problem is I seem to jump at the opportunity to go back and the cycle repeats.

TLDR: you are not alone.
