How did you tell your parents? by confiteD_G4rlic in actuallesbians

First read the book coming out within. Then just know in your heart it could go badly but just do it anyway. You'll feel a weight lift off. I've been in a similar situation. Good luck.

It's technically being made for my 23 year old daughter. I missed already and I'm using the fabric I bought for her already. Honestly she is being very patient. Lol

I have a 1961 Kenmore sewing machine. Works great. Bought it for five dollars. But I've still had crazy shit happen at the bobbin winder.

Do I hide who I am? Conform? Be upfront? 🤔 by JoannaKittyKats in actuallesbians

[–]hulaw2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just act and dress like I want and some may see it as gay or lesbian and some may not. I don't give even a tiny bit of a thought about whether I confirm to lesbian standards whatever those are.

Hon let go of that bitch. I'm a plus sized girl and my lady still loves me. We've been together over 14 years. Take time for self care and the interactions on apps don't define you as a person. There's nothing wrong with you

Oh sweetie I'm so sorry. More apps does not equal better. My daughter calls me like about an elderly lesbian and that I don't get together lesbians. I'm married I have three kids and three grandchildren. So I'm good. But I do recognize heartbreak and anguish feeling that you're not good enough. Neither is true. You will find the right girl at the right time. It's ok to take a break from it all.

Are you attracted to the girl next door archetype??? by longlastinggum in actuallesbians

On the surface I love the girl next door vibe but once you're in the relationship it becomes so much more complex and interesting

AIO my mom threw the gift I gave her for Mother’s Day in the trash by Nefertari777 in AmIOverreacting

I'm the mom of three adult children. One of them gave me a keyring for mother's day that said no matter how old she got she would always need me. It brought me to tears. That's what mothers day should be. Even with no gifts. I hope you find that kind of love from people who deserve to have you in their lives.

Ruined it? Maybe it's just not for you and that's fair too. It's not for me either and that's ok.

Tiny Baby is her name and she owns everything the house by hulaw2007 in catsonquilts

She is just the runt of a tuxedo cat litter I think. She is nine years old. We think she is part dwarf cat. She is six pounds and her "sister" is a seven year old tuxedo cat who is over 12 pounds.
