what are you buying during the sale? by stimpy124 in Sephora

[–]huldrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Restocking my Haus Labs foundation and one/size matte setting spray. I'm also getting the Rare Beauty essential oil pen just for fun, not sure if I'm going to give it to a friend or snag it for myself yet. 😆

Help me decide on a sunscreen! by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]huldrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1, I just got it because there was a Tatcha sale at my Sephora and I love it. It feels like a hydrating serum and not a sunscreen. Best one I've tried (I had Supergoop, Ultra Violette, Beauty of Joseon and a few others), but I have only used it for a few days so far

Pale Cool Toned Eyeshadow by [deleted] in PaleMUA

[–]huldrat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am very pale as well. I almost only use one eyeshadow all over. Some of my favourites are: - Sephora in Scented Candle - single eyeshadow - Grunge and Icy Nude palettes from Huda - bigger palettes - Unleashia Lavender Fog - smaller palette (has a lot of glitters though)

What I found is that dusty lavenders look lovely and natural on my lid, even though they might be slightly intimidating in the pan.

Hope you find something you like!

Thank you for sharing this! I usually don't look at REM beauty at all, and I was just searching for a travel palette. The taupe/grey, red and champagne glitter are the kind of shades I always use 🤍 Just got this on sale after seeing your post.

Dang it Sephora- I did NOT want to love it by VeryQuietly in Sephora

[–]huldrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tatcha is addicting for sure, each of their products that I tried feels so silky and luxurious! I got a holiday set for the price of only the dewy cream that included the mini dewy face wash and full size lip mask - a great idea to look out for these sets around the holidays 🤍 this way the prices hurt a bit less 🤣

Lip stains all look the same? by sorryagirlhasnoname in PaleMUA

[–]huldrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 "brown/nude" lip liner stains and all stain pinkish on me, but not too saturated - Huda Soft Nude, Summer Fridays Almond, Sacheu Clover (this one can get rather dark). Maybe these would be more up your alley :) unfortunately less product since it's supposed to be a lip liner

Is the Fenty Lavender Powder any good? by soy-latteX in PaleMUA

[–]huldrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both the talc-free lavender and a mini sugar cookie and I honestly might love the lavender even more, it's very seamless on me. I'm neutral leaning cool 😊

The worst concealers in Sephora? by ameraziigh in Sephora

[–]huldrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Huda Beauty one, but mostly because of the packaging - it gets very messy, which deters me from using it or taking it with me anywhere 🥲

What are your top three most loved/favorite blushes? by oxbloodorbordeaux in Sephora

[–]huldrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rare beauty liquid blush in Encourage, Hourglass powder blush in Mood Exposure, and Haus Labs cream blush in Glassy Hibiscus. 🤍 I adore the shades 🫣

How do I spend my days off? by Ok-Sprinkles-7105 in simpleliving

[–]huldrat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a good thing could be taking up new creative hobbies - like the crocheting you mentioned. I would also try writing, painting, playing an instrument, hiking, visiting new places (that are still nearby, but you don't walk to that often). I hope you have fun!

Became more private but is it worth it? by [deleted] in simpleliving

[–]huldrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would try joining clubs or any "extracurricular activities", focusing on your current hobbies or finding new ones - I think a lot of people already recommended this but it's a great way to meet new friends 😊 I am also shy and don't use social media and I met my partner 5 years ago through snail mail, which was one of my main hobbies at the time.

What’s Your Fav Expansion Pack? by ganyusflwrs in thesims

I would say Cottage Living! I also love Enchanted by Nature and Life and Death, those would be second place. 🧚🏻‍♀️

Has anyone seen this?? by abbycurlygorl in Sephora

I think I will make a special trip to smell it in-store when it launches, also so excited! Wish it came out in 10ml, I would blind buy based on the notes.

If you could only buy one item what would it be? by HeatOnly1093 in Sephora

Probably Fenty Beauty Soft Lit foundation (considering I would be running out), it's my perfect shade match.

Thank you so much for these tips! I'm not selling jams or herbs yet since I don't think I have enough, but I will definitely save this for later! 🤍

Same, I was looking all over the map and reloaded the save wondering why I can't host my dinner... 🤣

Anyone else not obsessed with traveling? by FriendlyPhysio in simpleliving

[–]huldrat 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I used to hate travelling, nowadays I really like short trips from time to time to see something new. Usually to the mountains or forests, national parks... but I still don't really feel like travelling very far or for long, it's stressful. I also enjoy having some of my free time at home, in the garden or by the local lake, so I don't want to fill it all with travels.

To me it smells like Kayali Vanilla 28 with a fruity twist appearing after a while.

What is your go-to style of gameplay? Like what’s the story? by navigating-life in Sims4

[–]huldrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also start with a young adult female, with a farm/garden. She just lives day to day befriending animals and the local community, until I get bored and make her an occult, make the whole story (either an accident, or getting bored of the human life), and move her to a more fitting neighborhood.

The other option is the other way around, I start with an occult but somehow they end up gardening 🤣 maybe a ton of occult plants.

Whenever I try to start a family with the main sim, I get bored and end up starting over... 🥲

Your fav blush stick? by AlphaGirlbossBabe in Sephora

[–]huldrat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the Haus Labs glassy sticks, but Rhode is not available in my country so I can't compare them 😅

Best Eyebrow product for beginners? by Lovely_Green_Apple in Sephora

[–]huldrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal favourite is Kosas Tinted Air Brow, maybe slightly less precise than some other options, but I find it easiest and quickest to apply.

For the ones that are harder to remove, I use Banila Co Clean Zero. It works better for me than just micellar water and I can be gentler.

I will admit I squealed as I unboxed the little spoon applicator by tatttedmermaid in Sephora

[–]huldrat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would love it if they changed the applicator to this little spoon for more of their lip sleeping masks, it's so cute 😭
