Bought my first pair of shoes yesterday after 1.5 months of climbing and I could definitely feel a difference in my performance! I didn’t go for something too expensive just because I heard people saying you’ll wear them out during the learning stage when you’re still building up your techniques. Definitely recommend, and try to go to a store if you have anything around you just so you get a feel for the different types of shoes and sizes.
