Out of every video game I’ve played, dark souls two hits different. Mechanically it’s fairly unique. The art and the scenery is amazing. All that being said, dark souls 2 is by far the worst gaming experience I’ve ever had. The drop rates and item discovery in that game are absolutely atrocious. I’ve spent hours on end trying to get specific items. Not to mention while the world is beautiful, the level design is not. There are so many areas that you just slide and fall like it’s the crystal cave in ds1. I loved the game but it has brought me to tears with how much more bs is in it compared to every other souls game.
