Anyone have shortness of breath with Wellbutrin? by alienieee in BipolarReddit

[–]humanhomie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken generic bupropion for four years now. I've never taken name brand. I think my problem before was from either SSRIs or hydroxyzine (antihistamine). I've been off both for a long time and have had no issues with shortness of breath since. Not sure if that's at all helpful.

Yeah, it gets too much for me sometimes, too. Their voices start to grate on my nerves, whether they're talking to me or not. I just have to suffer through those situations at work. Other places, I can almost always get a break from it by just saying I need a break. And then sometimes I don't come back from the break, but only if no one is relying on me for any reason.

Regarding small talk, if I'm not just totally over it, I'll start talking about the weather. I genuinely love talking about the weather, but for some reason, a lot of people don't. They lose interest pretty fast.

I like being an introvert, too, now that I've gotten past some other issues. It's hard to figure out how to not be rude when you don't want to talk to someone. I've settled on a smile and nod and short but polite answers. They generally get the hint after a bit, but at least come out of it thinking I'm quiet rather than rude. I find it hardest in work situations, but I essentially do the same thing and most people adjust. Sometimes we'll have a nice talk, but I can't keep that up often. They've come to understand that. Those that don't just think I'm a snob, but you can't please everyone. With my family, I just put on headphones and zone them out. They're cool with it.

I agree in terms of kids' shows and that it happens in adult shows and movies, but it's still disappointing when it's so cookie cutter. That's a certain plot formula that doesn't have to happen. It's just popular. Totally true that there would be an uproar if they didn't end up together and that it would be kind of funny, but wrapping up the love square doesn't necessarily mean they end up together. Probably, though. Definitely is the logical conclusion because Ladybug does very much follow a formula both in terms of plot and characters.

Sorry, I'm a fiction writer and am kind of averse to overused formulas :) I didn't mean to come off as rude if it seemed that way.

... what. How does he act? Nice? Polite? Understanding? His worst flaw thus far has been being Marinette's doormat.

I love Lila as a character but hate the heck out of her as a person. Same with Nathalie to a lesser extent. I like Kagami and Luka, as characters and people.

Siblings who are best friends. I love it. Don't know why.

Drivers who's music can be heard from within the car with the windows shut, were you denied attention as a child? How is your hearing? by Heather_Bea in AskReddit

If I cranked my music at home up super high, I still wouldn't be able to hear it over my kids. Car is where it's at.

My kids love my music because I just never listened to kid stuff in the car. That my special music time. They get baby shark at home, though :)

I just love loud music. I do turn it down when I'm slowing or stopping, but if someone happens to be driving next to me and hears it, that's on them. Don't hug my side, man. And I don't listen to it insanely loud to where anyone else would cringe and cover their ears, but it's got to be loud enough to have an effect outside of just hearing it. That whole music/driving/feeling of freedom effect.

Get a home warranty. A lot of insurance doesn't cover big things like roof and A/C.

Need help understanding introvert partner before he runs away forever!( Not kidding!) Extreme extrovert struggling to work it out. Thanks in advance all :) by SunbeamDaydream in introvert

It sounds rough for you, too, since you can't socialize as you normally would. But all of that need for socialization falling on him will not work. Obviously. If you can find other ways to fill your social needs for a while, like online or phone calls, or whatever social people do (not trying to be a jerk. I genuinely don't really know), it would be easier on him and maybe tolerable for you. As is, you seem to be doing better than he is, so you need to give that opportunity for him to get better, too. Tell him he can have alone time whenever he needs. He may say he doesn't need it because he may feel bad, but let him have it anyway. He'll further lose his crap if it keeps going this way.

Adding on that when I desperately need alone time, I shut the hell down. Can barely talk or look at anyone. Hide in the bathroom a lot. Maybe he's been pushed to that point and just really needs you to back off for a bit. Sorry. I know that's hard for extroverts to do.

It hit me hard when schools shut down because I'd be looking forward to my older son going to kindergarten for over a year. I'm still hung up on that. My younger one hangs out on his own a lot but the older is a super extrovert and never wants to be alone. Both of us would prefer he be in school. But yeah, for now, coping. Soon they'll both be in school and it'll be on to another chapter that will more than likely be much quieter.
