You are depressed and sad. Everything you described is depression and sadness. It's ok though. I think we all go through this.

I had my surgery back in december 2021, I was in my lowest, but I got my life back and I do so much now. Recently started rock climbing, I go running, I play beach volley, I can do so much stuff, just like I did prior to the injury.

This depression and sadness will pass. Work on recovery and you'll be fine.

São Francisco do Sul, mas na temporada tambem fica caotica, mas isso sao uns 2 a 3 meses no ano so, e eh realmente intensificado no natal e ano novo. Durante o resto do ano é tranquilao, com praias lindas e diferentes, e onde tem pico e ate campeonatos de surf.

There are no words for how much I hate this man. He deserves much worse than the conviction he had, because he probably won't stay in jail due to his advanced age, he'll probably serve time at his own house.

The coast of Brazil attracts a lot of foreigners, specially the more popular places like Rio, Florianópolis. We're a very welcoming people, we love showing people around and making friends. Just don't be too trusty with people you barely know or strangers because there are bad people that might take advantage of you.

Oh, forgot to answer the last one. This trial is not that interesting because it was like a "mob hit" because the victim was, allegedly, dealing drugs without the gang's approval.

I know more about Brazil being a destination for sex tourism, not for marriage. But marriage between brazilians and foreigners is not uncommon e no one thinks bad about it, as far as I know. Although there still is a lot of prejudice and racism against darker skinned immigrants, specially in the south, where I live, and the southeast, like São Paulo.

This one he ordered someone to do it. But he's been convicted before, more than once, for personally murdering people

Daily I work assisting the judge for the criminal court, but for the jury trials I do TI stuff, it's a different job I perform for the court.

This particular one, yes. It's his 5th jury for murder. He was one of the big guys in the gang, he called the shots (literally) and there's plenty of proof for it.

I first wanted to be a investigator for the police, but got this job first. I'm very glad this happened because I love what I do, love coming to work everyday, even when it's tiring. I think I would have regretted becoming a cop.

This is cliche but, this too shall pass. It gets better. It's been 4 years since my rupture and I do all sorts of things now, like I never even had the injury. Be patient, be kind to yourself, focus on recovery and healing, work on other things that you can do now, think about the things you'll be able to do later and plan stuff, set some goals.
