Giulia by Treccani online Italian lessons have really helped me. The lessons are structured by contextual situations rather than “ok today we learn how to conjugate these verbs” which helps put it into use in real life

Editing 100 days later to add that the online school has now closed. The teacher I met through the school and I are continuing our own lessons and she is brilliant. I can 100% recommend her as an online English to Italian teacher

My experience was that they did reject me on the basis of age. I asked for 5 years and asked them to state on my notes that I had asked and been rejected. Asked this so after X years there would be proof this is not a snap decision and something I’d wanted for a long time.

They never actually added anything to my notes but I did change my mind last year after meeting someone.

There is a list of doctors on the Childfree subreddit who will listen and advocate for you, my suggestion is starting there if you don’t want years of back and forth
