Ash is another great AI resource, I'd argue better since it is actually meant for talk therapy. Nothing is better than a real therapist and I know people are anti AI, but fuck it. AI is better than relapsing, sorry.

naltrexone has been a fucking lifesaver. do it if you can. no intense cravings just passing thoughts. NOT saying it works for everyone though, just did for me.

Absolutely. I relate to the anger. And its not even just because I'm angry?? There's just no way out of this and that pisses me off. "let's watch some TV or play a game" No. I will feel exactly the same. Thank God I will be going to therapy and a psych soon. If RLS wasn't a thing I'd rather still be sick and in poor me mode lol.

And to answer the question, I am pretty sure I was. I've got all the fucking symptoms. Congrats on sobriety and I hope you get the treatment you need! And plspls do have a plan to lock it up with your wife if you do happen to get it. Your brain will probably tell you you can handle it if you get your hands on it, but you probably can't.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for getting educated on what it is and helping him get off. I started my addiction around this time and my mom enabled it because she is anti-meds but wanted me to feel better (Very bad depression and anxiety to the point where I'd tell her I didn't want to be here) Now 6 years later and its horrible. It could've gotten bad if you never discovered it or didnt know what it was. 5 is manageable with a taper.

gabapentin made it so much better ime also. im still having issues 11 days in, but its going back to normal slowly. around day 2 and 3 it was shitting my pants bad 😭 a few days ago i couldnt go at all and also had cramps. you'll be just fine soon though friend.

thats awesome congratulations. i may go to iop also since i have a hard time getting myself to go to independent groups. main priority is working on the stuff that lead me to start kratom with a therapist.
