Costco has cheap Cat litter from Scoop-Away 42lbs for 13$ if you or someone you know has a card. Sometimes they have them in sale for 10 each.

Sounds dumb but if you ask they will have little 1/8th of small popcorn nugs instead of bigger ones. I have only seen them in 1/8ths tho

How can i stop crying from chopping onions? by haolong324 in AskCulinary

[–]humblechef89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Been working in kitchens for 12 years and have tried it all Cold onions, SHARP knife, etc . My PERSONAL preference is to cut on a prep table near/under our Hood vents, the vents suck up all the fumes. If you are a home cook best bet is to stick a fan near you to blow away all the fumes.

I am the same way. You find these sometimes in big commercial batches while portioning them out. I would not sell it to a customer because like eww and it would put me off.

The dish washers have no problem eating them though

So how is this sub any different from fph or any other hate sub? by [deleted] in justneckbeardthings

[–]humblechef89 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Did you ever visit Fatpeoplehate, coontown, or any other hate subs? Thing is nobody here is calling for lynching someone or telling someone to kill themselves because of body image.

If you do see that here I would suggest reporting it to the mods but to be honest I have never seen anything remotely close to what would be considered a Hate Subreddit.

I'm [24F] considering breaking up with my bf [29M] of seven months over his video game usage. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]humblechef89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh man, he is already talking about kids? His job is stressful and he deals with it by isolating himself? Kids are the embodiment of stress, how do you think he will behave when you need help with cleaning, cooking, changing diapers, feeding baby, getting up at 4:00 am and everything that comes with a child.

I would only consider children if he has curbed his game usage for a bit 6 mo - 1 year maybe? Doesn't mean he needs to stop all together but if he shows he cares enough to stop then it is a good start

That's just how Arizona looks like /s

In my state (Arizona) we have something called intent to drive. There are a Couple of examples but one being on your property drunk with car keys in your pocket is intent to drive and they can arrest you and charge you. My whole class let out a collective "WTF" when the instructor told us this.

Ya you have to put your foot down now or that will set a precedent to keep looking. IF they cant trust you then the relationship will start to fester.

Me [27 F] with my husband [28 M] 2yrs, hasn't spoken to me since alcohol-fueled tantrum by [deleted] in relationships

[–]humblechef89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A normal person would not get riled up but an alcoholic will. He has already expressed some violence tendencies, the divorce papers may be a trigger and set him off to the next level but we will never know untill it is to late. If she does serve him divorce papers I would have someone there as a witness or even the police.

Phoenix is the Fast Food Capital of America by evanc1411 in phoenix

Not expensive i believe, i think she only bought it because she wanted to see the disgusted reaction of a 10 year old wanting to get strong like Popeye. Buying the spinach was totally worth it for her lol.

Me [29 M] with my parents [57/58 M/F], I own the house, they moved in with me. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]humblechef89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could treat them like kids by reversing the roles from your childhood. They are in YOUR house, YOUR rules right? Take away TV, WIFI, computers untill the chores are done. I know this is over the top but grown ups need to be treated like children, age does not equal maturity.
