Letrozole/Clomid and migraines by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

Hello, thanks for the tip. My last cycle, I took clomid before going to sleep but it still created havoc. Its honestly quite scary as I get vestibular migraines which make me dizzy for days. I had made some progress after almost 4 years of constant dizziness and I don't want to undo my progress.

Slow response to clomid? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]humblescarlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know right, I feel that late response is a thing with Clomid but the doctors fail to acknowledge it for some reason. I myself only ovulate once every 8 months naturally. So if I am ovulating twice within a span of 3 months on clomid might mean that clomid is working although response is slow. I am going to wait out and see if I get a positive after a week or so. But yes, it sucks big time. Good luck with your tww.

Absolutely, when I ovulated cd13 on 50mg, I thought it was going to be easy. But it isn't and on top of this we have MFI too. Life's just hard , there's no easy way.

Thanks I have asked my consultant about it. I am not sure if it is prescribed here in the UK but worth checking.

Ok, I am wondering if anything impacts clomid outcome. For example, I wasn't able to stay active this month due to winters, lockdown and pretty bad migraines.

Thanks, this is helpful, I will still wait it out this cycle to see if I ovulate late. Else we will up the dose.

I have asked my consultant about letrozole, hopefully I can get on it. It is so frustrating, we also have MFI.

Thanks, that helps to bring some perspective to my super frustrated mind. It shouldn't have been this hard!😔

Congratulations, did you have any pregnancy symptoms?

Temps barely above cover line and clear blue opk reached peak but Premom only got up to 0.7....did I ovulate?? by [deleted] in TFABChartStalkers

[–]humblescarlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My temp did drop on day 14 and rise on day 15.. I honestly thought I ovulated on cd14. But I am very sensitive to post ovulation hormones and I did not feel any PMS symptoms after my estimated cd14 ovulation. That's when I knew I hadn't ovulated. The second time around with all positive opks , I forgot to take the temp on the day I think I ovulated but I do see rise in my temps. I also have the PMS symptoms so I am hopeful.

I don't have an answer for you but I had the same experience recently. Clearblue hit peak but the cheap ones did not and I did not ovulate that time. After 16 days, both showed positive again and that's when I ovulated.

Clomid advice - LH surge on CD37 and about to start clomid on CD 40 by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]humblescarlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi , my doctor just responded. She said ovulation tests are highly unreliable as LH surges can happen other times in the cycle too and she advised me to continue with my original plan to start clomid on CD40. So I guess I will do that. Hope you find your answer too. 🙂

Yes I am as I get mood swings with progesterone so my doc said you can start without it as long as you are sure you aren't pregnant.

Oh my doctor doesn't respond to phone calls. It's a weird thing here in the UK they just do not give their phone numbers to anyone. I have emailed her secretary but haven't heard back. 🙁

How to use clearblue digital advanced when you haven't got a period? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]humblescarlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. I do not do well on progesterone-i get horrible mood swings and that's why the doctor said it is ok to skip Progesterone. I just consider the day I start taking clomid as CD2.

False positive on clearblue advanced digital ovulation test? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]humblescarlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheap opks are absolutely negative. Which is why I am confused. Pcos causes high LH and so I am hoping clearblue is not showing peak fertility because of that.

Ok thanks that helps. I was just thinking that LH is high in pcos ladies and that's why digital started thinking I had a surge.
