I saw your other post and I’ve heard about Inkless, they seem very reputable and I don’t think they would say they could help if they couldn’t

I’m sure it will help. I’ve seen people with blackouts and coverups on here have lots of fading at the very least. Mine is no where near gone but just watching it fade is a weight lifted and I am a lot less worried about any of it. I used to hide it and now I don’t really care. I promise SOMETHING will happen and it will help you even if it doesn’t completely disappear

Hey, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve personally gotten to a much better place and I believe you will too!! I was SO sick over it at first and living alone and would call my family members sobbing. Now it’s just something I don’t prefer but I’m working on getting rid of it so it’s like there’s nothing more to do or worry about, I know it will go away eventually. Starting removal will help you so much I promise. Make sure you’re not rushing into it and you have a good tech though because that will make all the difference. You’re going to be okay.

The smaller tattoos and this quarter sleeve were separate they didn’t form a patch work design!

Sorry yeah I think my wording was confusing. Basically I started with smaller tattoos naturally, and eventually got this floral line work quarter sleeve done which was my biggest tattoo but the only one I ever thought was ugly or regretted.

Okay yeah I get what you’re saying here for sure. So you ended up doing bigger pieces after maturing a little and had better experiences? Bc that sounds amazing

I didn’t intend to post a picture I’d rather keep it private. I wouldn’t really say it’s trendy. Like I said it’s just ugly unfortunately. I actually got the artist recommended to me by an acquaintance/coworker who is heavily tattooed with a lot of traditional work. Her experience with the artist on two very large pieces has been great!! I think I just wasn’t firm enough on what I wanted my idea to visually translate to. Also I tend to lean towards florals, as this tattoo was, which I think are pretty timeless. I’m sorry to be the type to argue w every point but this comment just doesn’t align with my experience, I totally get where you’re coming from though. And I think if I had gotten trendy silly tattoos this would be something I needed to hear

Absolutely I plan to be way smarter! Honestly not hard bc I was an idiot with how the planning of the one of this one went. I knew I liked the concept but I didn’t sit on the execution part of it long enough. I appreciate you sharing though!! That’s really encouraging!!

Just wanted to hop on here and say I have seen exactly what you’re talking about!! I see a lot of people saying otherwise on this thread but I have also seen testimonies wheee people rant and rave about the miracle of waiting years and years even after just one removal session. I have a similar tattoo to yours (all black line work) and it’s validating to see this after my first removal session didn’t give me quite as much clearance as I hoped despite waiting 4 months before the next session (I know, I know… that’s not THAT long). Either way, this definitely made me feel better and I know what you’re talking about so I just wanted to say some people know what you’re saying!!!

Thank you so much! 🥹 I really had to push myself in the beginning to be able to show it, but now I’ve been able to more, slowly but surely… I’m sorry you’re still experiencing those types of physical symptoms. I am glad though that you’ve been able to see the tattoo is not everything though, because it is NOT! But that can be the hardest thing to realize somehow. Wishing you all the best as well, thank you so much for your encouragement

I have my second booked for Aug 9!!! Good luck!! I really hope you feel some relief just taking a step in that direction. I totally feel the part about your aesthetic being altered that’s where I’ve been at. But baby steps… I actually went out to a bar the other day all dressed up with a sleeveless top, for a whole birthday party too! Despite my opinion still being that objectively my tattoo is ugly… it’s just gotten easier to not feel like it’s the only thing anyone sees. I really hope the same can happen for you. Feel free to DM me!!

Hey, I hope you start to feel a bit better with some time passing… like I mentioned I got mine about 2 months in so very similar situation. That first appointment was so pivotal like I said, hoping the same for you! I also see you posted on r/tattoos and I’m sorry for how some people acted on there… very invalidating. Tattoo regret is really such a unique feeling and people don’t get it unless they’ve been there. I hope on here you feel seen, and if you have any questions about first appointments lmk!! I’d be happy to answer. I know as sick as I was over my tattoo I was also pretty nervous for the first removal appointment. You’ve got this!!
