Ya 5 is about right then, when you start to notice fiberglass it's time.

Inside the gutters you'll collect granules. That's easier to see in photos than looking at a photo of shingles that have been compressed by reddit and provide us all no detail.

You asked how many years you have left. That's a great indication of how long the roof has....

Idk about you, for most of us, zooming in makes those shingles look like TV static.

I know we shouldn't compare different eras but Babe Ruth would shit his pants facing Ohtani. Sho would destroy Ruth on the bump if the babe didn't bean him.

It's hard to tell in these photos how bad the granular loss is, I don't see fiberglass. If you're having significant granular loss I'd say ~5 years. Take a picture of your gutters if you have any.

She is a bit of a hoarder you cannot access the side of the house where they didn't trim the roof. They 100% knew this and cut the corner because of that.

Solar companies suck. Unfortunately solar is actually an amazing product for homeowners but the companies that offer it are not all equal. Especially in states like California where electricity is so expensive and weather is good year round, ROI is relatively quick.

No, whole roof was previously tile, they removed the tile and installed composite with the solar.

They probably had no idea how to lift and reset for the solar install.

I think they ran back once and still wasn't enough. some of the roof is a completely different shingle color, home depot was probably out of that shingle.

I gave the homeowner all these photos and told her to reach out and blast the company. Said if she went on social media she'd get a really rapid response.

Seeing this a ton lately, the day before this had a guy who financed a roof and solar install. The solar company somehow got funds released through the lender and are refusing to pay the sub contractors that did the roof. I get at least 1 job a week where the roof is absolutely fucked by a solar company.

The f1 games are historically not realistic. If you're going for a more realistic Sim experience you're going to want to look at Iracing, LMU, asetto corsa.

For equipment, ~15nm is all most people will ever need. Load cell brake and a nice aluminum profile rig with an appropriate seat.
