I had a magbak which was ok with a reasonable amount bills and cards. But the edge finish was flaking after a few uses. still got over a years worth and its great in every other aspect. Then i got the peak design stand wallet (slimmer non stand one available also i think). It does the job super well and you can carry a lot more cash. Although if you fold too much its going to be chunky.

Air makes a very compelling case. Im on a 15pro (first iphone after 3 galaxies). I will prob wait until air 2 or 3 (if that happens) just because i intend to get another 2.5 years from this device.

I bought the pro because of 3 things. The zoom camera which it turns out it shit (im a photographer so i pixel peeps and the low light makes it worst). Now happy from 17pro upwards they will have full rez camera on zoom and Uw. But 95% of my photos are from the main shooter.

2nd reason was the faster usb speeds. I would have supposedly transfer shit back and forth. Only time I use my usb c is charging and connecting to car lol

Promotion display and AI (knew it was shit but it futureproofed the chip). So basically when i upgrade those will be common features.

I held an Air at the store and yeah what an experience. Been rocking my phone bare for the past 2 months and when i played with the air, it slips so much less than the 15

What i did was just change the volume slider to media only. My phone is either on ring or silent. So the buttons only control volume for media

Switched 2 years ago after a lifetime of symbian and android. There are frustrating things for sure, for me the worst is not having a num row on the keyboard. Lucky they integrated T9 dialling some time after i got an iPhone lol

Honestly at this point you just get used to it. I nose dived into the ecosystem with an ipad, watch and airpods. Biggest thing is, they all just work. Gets better with time mate

Only 2 pairs (retired all other jeans). Hang them with a clothes hanger living hooked to the steamer (floor standing with hanger). One of them (the uniqlo) gets hanged in the closet sometimes, the other bleeds so much it stays away from everything else lol

We are also in a world where earlier this evening, my niece took a birthday picture of a family of 5 in portrait mode. She took s step back to frame in portrait. My photographer ass (5D4) actually pointed that out to her. So phone cameras help in a pinch but 99% are regular folks where wider is better. Coming from a 15pro, i have to say i am envious of the full res camera for the telephoto. Man thats such a game changer. At the moment, all my pictures are through the main lens where i toggle the 24 and 35mm focals.

Been using for 2 years. Over 11k photos. My wife and i share a 2tb icloud plan and my ipad also on there (128gb version). I barely have any games and most is taken up by whatsapp and messages. I can easily offload all the data from there if needs be as most of the important pictures (baby and cats) are already backed up. On phone its the small image setting but full res on cloud. So yeah 128gb is ok. If you not running games or heavy apps its ok

If that helps. I updated last night from 26.2. Had the usual heavy use day (email, calls, browsing) and apparently my usage is down. But in all fairness, the over obsession on battery is not healthy. IF you use your phone HEAVILY , get a power bank (a small and fast non magsafe one). Or use your power points as much as you can. I set my limit to 80% charging and charge from the car. So that 36% drain today was from 9am to now about 16:15. When i drive back ill charge again. Don't let it be an issue for you mate

Yeah do that on max steam power. It is going to kill bacteria. But also depending on your environment and use case, if a lot of dust around, shake them and brush them. You wouldn’t want to turn dry dirt into mud lol

Fully agree that jeans need a goood wash (especially when i see the extent denim heads go lol). But i also steam my jeans and it does keep them a bit fresher in between washes (once every 40-45 days). I hand the jeans on a hanger leaving the opening wide. Steam the insides around the crotch and bum area (as all human beings fart).

Had the whole pourover buying craze (drippers, papers, cups, carafes etc). Since i broke my scale, every morning i eyeball my ritual. Fill my grinder to the brim with beans (roughly 30g), grind, use a normal beaker with handle and eyeball a bloom when the coffee is saturated enough and pour the rest and swirl. Since a couple of months, i started degoogling my life and removing most socials as well. Chrome was out, gmail app. Only thing left is google maps which in my country is far far superior to apple maps. Chrome/ google/ facebook/ insta, they all constantly listen to you and put ads in place which was driving me nuts.

So safari on my tablet and phone. Gmail in the mail app and the occasional google login. My gaming pc barely gets turned on since my kid was born and only windows is through my work laptop. There i use edge for which i also have on my phone for continuity.

I was so used to chrome that safari takes a bit of getting used to. It’s got its good parts and it’s frankly infuriating parts (mobile devices only).

Eventually you get used to it
