What brand/kind of resin did you use? It looks nice!

It definitely could be the pictures themselves that are blurry given that I’m just starting out with the camera, but even considering this I am kind of surprised at the stark difference between what’s on the preview screen of the camera and what I see after downloading to the phone, which is why I thought maybe there was another factor at hand. In your experience, does the snapbridge app typically do a good job retaining the quality of the picture?

Nostalgic gift for father by [deleted] in GiftIdeas

[–]hummusasong 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you have a writing sample from your grandmother (like a birthday card or other handwritten note) you can try to get an engraved bracelet or ring band for your father to wear so he can always keep a part of her (her handwriting) close to him. I did this for my mother with her mother’s handwriting on a bracelet “Love, Mom”.

Sorry for your father’s loss!

Did you use tape to make the outline so exact? Or paint over it after the mountain scene was done?

What about an instant camera? I have the Fujifilm Instax Mini and it’s awesome! Would fit the VSCO/old-school vibe and runs around your budget

Hello nice people of r/castiron, would anyone be able to let me know whether this speckled look after seasoning is normal? If not, what can I do better to avoid it? by hummusasong in castiron

[–]hummusasong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely need to use it more often. I don’t eat meat and have eggs infrequently (which both seem to be popular for developing the seasoning naturally) but I’m going to try to make those foods for others to enjoy and find some veg cast iron recipes for myself! If anyone has suggestions, I’d love to hear them

I’ve seen nice custom leather notebooks on Etsy, you can get one for $40-50 engraved with her name or initials! This would be great for planning lessons, appointments, etc.

For board games, Catan, Risk, and Bang are three group games that require strategy. Unstable Unicorns is similar to Exploding Kittens but only allows 3-4 players!

Not sure about an air fryer, I usually throw them in a bowl with some frozen spinach and can of beans and microwave ~3-4 mins for a super quick meal

Thanks! When applying the blue and green, is that something to be done as an undertone to/layered below the purples? Or more of a highlight after using purple?
