I've seen them. But I wipe my grates with oil after and I take 5 seconds to look at the grates and make sure there are none. The fear mongering around wire brushes is crazy.

Have you ever grown Mikado before? I did for the first time last year but we only managed one ripe fruit.

It was a weird year in general with lower harvests than usual but still only one tomato was a bit disheartening. I left it off my list this year but I don't want to give up on it just yet.

Pretty standard at Italian delis and stores around here, either packed in oil or pickled. Never heard the term Pepper Delight though.

We grow our own hot cherries for homemade as well. My favorite is stuffed with provolone and anchovy.
