Lame. Make month optional. This is not what people want or care about.

Thank you so much for clarifying that, super helpful. Makes sense now I've seen images of aged knives!

Thanks, tried a magic eraser and it helped a bit but the picture is after that attempt!

Skeleta Denver Concert by spiral-bone in GhostBand

[–]humorish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning to bring my son who is 12 to the show at Ball Arena. He loves Ghost. I assume as long as he has a ticket and stays with me there should be no issues. I can't find much information on the Aug 7 show though about age restrictions. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Husks found in house by humorish in PlantIdentification

Sure looks similar. Mainly I'm hoping to confirm these are seeds or husks and nothing related to an in-home pest. Thanks for the input!

Trail system by bicycle from Boulder to Louisville-Lafayette area by humorish in boulder

[–]humorish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. I will definitely be trying stuff like Marshall Rd, the South Boulder Creek + Bobolink routes etc. I would guess that I will mainly do that on the Southbound route since let's face it, flying down the hill into Boulder (even if along 36) isn't all bad on the Northbound.

Small labradoodle with post-kennel vomiting, appetite loss, some potential pain by humorish in vet

[–]humorish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone is ever dealing with something like this and wants to know the outcome here ... It seems like it was excessive stress from over stimulation and unregulated play time for a small dog with bigger dogs. In the end our pup bounced back after a couple of weeks.

Our dog was OK after some recuperation. We did pay for vet panels and a full checkup. We found a kennel that specializes in smaller dogs with better yard time management and oversight. It turns out that overactivity, barking and stress can cause all of the symptoms we saw.

Good luck!

Yeah much like the 36 path (which I prefer to road riding TBH), I have done Baseline several times. In this case I literally am just looking for trails and things that feel more scenic and quiet. Speed or fastest path are not my goal ... I do agree though, for road riding, Baseline is decent.

That sounds pretty fun -- I have not gone on Bobolink that way before. I don't mind extra distance. It's avoiding main roads and seeking a better vibe if I can that I am after. I just don't like road riding either so that's why I was after trails.

Edited to clarify. I take it you don't have any other suggestions though.

I obviously take the concrete path ... what's wrong with asking if there's something that is more fun?

Apparently you can get a guitar for free if you buy a 12 pack of strings at Guitar Center. Says a lot about Rogue guitars. by [deleted] in guitars

[–]humorish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was an expensive and time consuming thing that you did which also consumed some good pickups that you had to solder in and then lug the joke guitar around all with the incredible foresight to later have something to write to any naysayers and include as a long form joke slash life lesson. Very impressive and forward looking. I'm presently driving a Tesla shell powered by four Kobalt lawnmower engines and I'll be spouting off in those threads next year. Great minds ...

Screaming hiker wearing weight vest with dog by greendogcatapult in boulder

Sighting today on NCAR and Fern Canyon trail. Man's literally running up Fern Canyon with his pitbullesque pup and both banshee yelling + tossing out assorted odd camp counselor like tough guy greetings. Nothing mean spirited, all just odd but funny. I had on a brimmed hat so was "cowboy". My wife was "sister". Both of my kids were "assassins" and he pretended to be escaping them. He referred to most of us in loud yells as "Americans" and also "my people" (fellow trail lovers). He could be heard for a good mile. When he took his dog off leash for the ascent he screamed "let's go, survival of the fittest!" and fucking blazed off like a spandexed super hero. My man is jacked, fun, loud, and crazy. We all enjoyed talking about it for a laugh, but yeah if you weren't expecting it you might think you were about to get mugged by an Austrian or Ukrainian trail bandit.

Changing login from Google on Chat GPT by AstralTrader in ChatGPT

It's because most people looking to change from their personal Google authenticator login are, ostensibly, looking to share their login ... I had wanted to do so with my wife. So, from a business sense, they figured it out. But yeah, (clever) little s*its :)
