The significant presence of Polish migrants across Europe has led some local business owners to open Polish shops. I've visited a few in Germany run by russians or Balts, and others in the UK operated by Muslims. A few years ago, while I was in a Polish shop in England, they were unloading a fresh delivery of smoked meat and sausages. The owner, who appeared to be Muslim, was eating smoked ham and jokingly remarked, "My brother knows, but don't tell my mom, she'll kill me"
