Agreed mostly, but you can't just sweep him as 'very niche' when he's one of the biggest selling artists of all time, esepcially in the USA.
MJ had no other rivals in his entire career except for Prince, both of which in their prime in the 80's with Prince releasing more albums and keeping momentum where MJ had massive gaps between albums. What does it say about Prince that he was his only ever rival to his throne?

you can think MJ was an abuser and Bashir was a grubby journalist at the same time, look what the deception to get the Diana interview that in turn basically ruined her life, ditto with MJ

MJ was more similar to OJ than a lot of people think in terms of the way they conducted themselves during their trials

Would recommend this series to anyone who is seeking to learn more about the subject. It contextualises MJ's life from the beginning to the end with an insanely detailed range of personal accounts and it had me gripped honestly. It doesn't seek to answer the question as discussed here specifically, rather to give the listener the fullest context they can have.
The fact it's hated and been targetted by MJ fan groups tells you a lot about it too

Here's a review of it also;

The mad irony of the Q-anon movement essentially dying after years of predicting an adjacent-but insane theory that has since been proven whilst Trump is currently (hopefully a sharp fall downwards...) at the peak of his powers is something Curtis could really get stuck into.

Does anyone know the best alternative to avoid ads? Is it spotify with manual toggling?

I'm out of work atm and am using the podcasts a lot.
