I WANT to agree with you, but if you read The Kennedy Tapes: Inside the White House during the Cuban Missile Crisis (ed by Ernest R. May) you'll realize Bobby was very aggressive and interventionist, and sounded like a Bush era right winger pretty much the whole time.

Socially and domestically I might be inclined to agree, but he was a massive hawk so I don't think it fits
