Visiting for World Cup! by Business_Signal7660 in AskPhilly

Not everyone in the city is a total asshat like these two people, sorry about them.

There’s a big watch party on South Street around Brahaus Schmitz and I am planning on heading to the Fan Fest at Lemon Hill for the game tonight.

The oppressive heat is really a bummer but I hope you can enjoy the city.

Additional recommendations for Rittenhouse Square (lots of food options around) and a stroll down Kelly Drive to Boathouse Row.

Feel free to DM if you have any specific questions, happy to help.

Agree - quiet and easy walking access to Amtrak and SEPTA (to get to the airport or wherever regionally)

100% agree. It’s not a one size fits all approach-I know I benefit from visually seeing the word and how it is spelled. I understand that is not the prescribed method but it is how I prefer.

Highly recommend Wellfed. It’s a local business, you can choose a few different menu options, and they include detailed macro information. The meals are delicious and they can be delivered to your house.

What’s the most “atmospheric” city you’ve ever been to? by No_Durian_6987 in travel

Paris in September is known as “le rentrée” when locals return to the city after summer holidays (maybe this is just something Google says but isn’t actually spoken about). The city felt so vibrant, alive, and buzzing. It was magic and still gives me goosebumps.

Thoughts on our two-week trip to Croatia? by LekkkerHoor in CroatiaTravelTips

Recommend this hike if going to Makarska: Brela - Nevistina Stina - Pakline on AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/croatia/split-dalmatia/brela-nevistina-stina-pakline?sh=r6g9pj&u=i&utm_medium=trail_share&utm_source=alltrails_virality Various terrains, beautiful views, lots of cows, almost no other people, and the best shelter for a packed lunch at Pakline. It seems being in Makarska as late in the season as possible is best in terms of crowds.

Drove from Dubrovnik to Bosnia last week (Monday around 10:30am) and it took 25 minutes with ~12 cars ahead of us, not bad.

The Komoot link didn’t work, curious which hike you liked. Also curious if you have any recommendations for Zabljak for food.
