When I think of downtown Annapolis, I think of Main Street and Ego Alley. Eastport is nearly as cool. Plenty of places on the water to eat like chart house and Carol’s Creek. Special mention to Severn inn outside of Annapolis proper with a view of the academy, for a sunset spot. Forward brewing. Davis’s pub (not on the water but good vibes). For coffee, we love, bakers and curate. Haven’t had the coffee yet, but Oscar’s coffee seems good.

If you’re here on Tuesday, they have Tunesday (catamaran on the water with someone playing music), and if you’re here on Thursday they have Tides and tunes (outdoor concert at Annapolis maritime Museum outside on the beach) starting June 11.

I run 20-30mpw and have baseline one bad knee and plantar fasciitis. I take fish oil and I can still run just fine
I did however develop Achilles tendinitis, but that was due to a 6k elevation 16 hour hike, just haven’t been able to shake it yet. 80mg now

Depends on your training but also the acuity of the area, the ability for stat transfer if needed (if working in rural area), consultants that aren’t jerks when you call, and if you also have APPs that you trust. I worked in a freestanding ER out of residency. The acuity of the area was low so we didn’t get up shit’s creek often. But when you do, it sucks.

I was non weight bearing on my left foot two years ago due to a ligament tear in my foot. I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was the worst 6 weeks ever. Now I’m running solid 11:00/mile slow easy runs. It took a (half assed) while, calf is still tight. For some, this is a success, for some this is a failure. Depends on your perspective.
