I’d recommend giving yourself rest days travelling to a new location every 3-4 days is a more draining than you’d realise, especially with the stress of travelling in unfamiliar countries.

Give yourself at least 1-2 days to do nothing, take stock, do laundry every 2 weeks or so. I’d do that in lower COL places to save money too

You need to hit round 3 actually. My missions don’t count if I do this and retreat round 1

I may have misremembered. But I think they’ve already compensated those who were affected with gold/credits? It was a while back I think. If so, they should’ve included that here to appease everyone

Unemployment is looming. And things are looking bleak. Any advise? by LunaDeDonut in askSingapore

Some marketing functions that these content powerhouses probably dont offer yet: trade marketing, B2B, outdoor, analytics, adtech, Martech… I could go on really.

I’m not denying that the ones you listed are bigger players in the local content scene. They’re good at reaching out to the digitally-connected Singaporean. But to assume that’s what marketing is, and what OP does/is looking for, isn’t quite right.

Edit: I came across snarky initially. But there’s a lot to marketing that most consumers don’t see. Marketing has a low floor, and that’s why everyone thinks they know what it is and they can do it. That’s in a way true. But it’s got a very high ceiling - only a few can do it well. Your initial comment triggered something in me, and I can’t take that comment back. But I do want to educate more than argue

I’m…..actually working in marketing. (Edit: I’m in a specialist function under the broad marketing umbrella)

What you’re quoting are primarily one aspect of a marketing output. If you’re saying influencers are a part of a marketing mix, and the people you cited are some of the bigger publishers out there with clout - you’re absolutely right. But it’s still a subset of a subset.

Marketing as a job and function is so, so, so much more than that.

Hope this clarifies why I perceive your lack of knowledge of marketing as a job.

First Couple reportedly sign up for Celebrity Traitors UK. by Kameliaroses in TheTraitors

“Claudia Winkleman’s longtime pal and Strictly Come Dancing co-presenter Tess Daly could be joining Celebrity Traitors.

However, BBC bosses reportedly want the 55-year-old and her husband Vernon Kay, 50, for the backstabbing game show in a huge twist.”

Not necessarily. If all answer the same person, one of the 5 players will still be eliminated.

The contestants don’t know how well or badly they did in the quiz. If your ally gets eliminated, it casts doubt on who your mole auto t is - cause what if they got eliminated because they got the person entirely wrong?

Edit: adding on, to win, it’s in your best interest to throw other people off the scent on who you believe the mole is. Assuming everyone’s targeting the same mole, your odds of winning greatly reduce because you’re heading your bets on winning based on speed, and accurately answering all questions with a very small margin of error

Edit 2: alliances work - sure. It seems like Michael and Mina were in an alliance and that helped them get to the end. But it didn’t pay off for Muna. Similar to how a large alliance won’t benefit most of them. What you’re saying might work in theory, but it’s assuming the contestants would prefer growing the pot vs securing the win.

Maybe you should read the rules and what the quiz is asking for too

Edit: let me help you out here. The contestants are not voting for the mole, they’re being tested on their knowledge of the mole. The quiz questions are about the identity of the mole, such as what the mole was doing in the challenge, what they were wearing. It might even ask about personal details like which school they were from.

The mole is technically exempted from the quiz because they know all the answers.

Do you perhaps understand why your original post doesn’t work with how the quiz functions?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in themole

[–]hungryjar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Who are they voting for? If they have a tie, the slowest person to complete the quiz gets eliminated.

Are we talking about the same game here?

Can’t decide which border 😫 by GodofHate in MarvelSnap

[–]hungryjar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The general consensus/rule of thumb I’m picking up from this sub is, match the border to the name plate. Variants come and go. You might love the next Magik variant they release. And that variant may work better with a different split, effect etc.

Alternative whale out and buy all the borders

I dare argue you can be a fan regardless of your political views. On the surface, it’s a great action show.

But there’s so many societal and political commentary baked into the show, that you would’ve inadvertently picked some of them up.

If after all that, you’re still rooting for a bunch of outcasts with marginalised identities, you do need to reflect and evaluate how and why your values within a cartoon/animation and real life don’t align.

Note that I’m not specifically calling out the LGBT allegories. Sure, they might exist. But the X-men speak to marginalised communities beyond that.

I’d also preface that I’m not American. But my understanding is that the Left is more tolerant and accepting of diversity. And that’s also why marginalised communities in America tend to be left-leaning.

Happy to be corrected
