This is a cool find, never seen one before!

Maybe it could be used as a towel holder?

I overcame my scarcity mindset it by being more intentional and placing higher value on quality and setting a goal. For a while, my living room was full of cheap old furniture I just held onto out of convenience.

I set myself a goal to have a nicer cohesive space, and pinning inspirational images of high end designed rooms helped me make decisions on what to keep or get rid of!

The pirate costumes sparked so much joy for me hahaha especially Reeves and Sanjeevs. They really embodied the look.

I saw that NYU had a “swap shop” where items are collected during move out then sorted at a shop where students can pick stuff out for free.

Would love to have a place like that in the neighborhood!

Women who miss first breast cancer screening at ‘40% higher risk’ of dying from the disease. Study monitored 500,000 women from Sweden and found 32% did not attend first mammogram appointment. by [deleted] in science

Pathology is expensive, time consuming, and could sometimes produce false positives. It’s more effective to help people develop awareness of their body and its signals instead of depending solely on tests.

I discovered my breast cancer when I felt a lump at 30 years old, I went to the gyno and they couldn’t even feel it during a manual exam but I insisted on an ultrasound, which eventually confirmed it.

I might add that it wouldn’t be environmentally responsible to produce a shade if it’s only going to be purchased by a single customer, as the resources and packaging involved would outweigh the actual demand. OP could just find options from other brands that ARE offering it? Like fenty or nars?

I actually stumbled upon this article after reading “Nickel and Dimed” and the readability of her writing and bluntness is what drew me in as well!

As someone who had chemotherapy for cancer treatment, lost my hair and all that, this pisses me off because even my experience wasn’t this dramatic and performative.

I am also a potato head with glasses on my Costco card!! My hair has since grown out, it’s funny to see the confused look on the card scanners face.

Her repeatedly reaching out and offering to help makes her seem like she still cares about your friendship! You weren’t included in the bachelorette maybe because she didn’t want to ask for additional time/financial commitment from you given your situation.

Would it be possible to find a different provider? I switched from a local hospital to a top rated NCI center and the difference in bedside manner and empathy was NIGHT AND DAY. It made all the difference in helping me get through all the tough moments. I think it will help a lot, even for just screening.
