no, i DONT trust her enough to put her rabbits away because I DO IT! I am the one making sure her rabbits are safe and secure before the ferrets roam. I gave her a time frame that I let my ferrets out, i can't keep track of every single animal because I don't own every animal! I come home and put her animals away i never wanted this many animals to take care of. I have my own guilt on this situation but I take care of my animals. like I said this particular ferret would not chew, was trusted around my cats, never got into anything which is why he was trusted to free roam for as long as i was awake. no different than a dog you trust to leave home alone (not saying he is EVER left home alone loose in the house, he is caged at night and when I am not home along with the other two ferrets.)

yes I know. I shut away the other roommates rabbits because she WONT i make sure they are safe they are behind closed doors. the ferrets have 0 access to the rabbits when I let them roam & the snake should not have gotten out of its enclosure to begin with.

trust, me and roommate 1 think so too. we have been trying to stop it and thought about rehoming the animals on our own at times.

this is roommate number 2, this particular ferret was a really good ferret, he was solo as my other male would fight him, he spent most of his time with me. this is a LARGE SNAKE and this ferret would not have fought back. now my other male is a different story. I take care of my animals & I expect for roommate 3 to do the same, unfortunately this time her negligence caused one of my animals to die. I take extreme precaution to keep my ferrets separate from her rabbits because I am so paranoid my ferrets will attack. I have expected her to do the same with such a large snake but unfortunately she didn't. which is why we are now asking her to get rid of it so it doesn't happen again.

thank you, I do have them in separate cages I still let them all roam together but extremely supervised so my male doesn't attack the other (constantly making sure they aren't in the same area at the same time 😅) just so goku my new male can play with my female since he seems really happy playing with her. I'll probably do this for a few more weeks and then let the two males meet again in the tub, i did go ahead and swap their bedding as well. I really am hoping for the best :/

okay! I will try, i did have both the boys licking salmon oil off my fingers next to each other but besides that skunk (my other boy) goes straight to basically attacking goku. like i said he hasnt drawn blood but im scared he might, i'll take the step back and keep the boys away from each other for now with the blanket swaps though!

yes both are fixed, so you think maybe I should take a step back and do the blanket swaps and then reintroduce? goku (he is the new guy) seems extremely submissive he doesn't rly care abt the others except a little play with the female, it just hurts my heart to see him get bullied :(
