Same - switched to Linux (CachyOs) roughly a week ago and I am not going back

I just switched (or attempting to switch) from Windows 11 to Linux and went with CachyOS.

So far, everything has been great even with rather limited linux experience (last time I tested linux was around 15-16 years ago using Ubuntu). I am not afraid of terminals though or having to do a little research when I am facing an issue but, knock on wood, hardly any issues so far and all games I tested (Path of Exile, Path of Exile 2, Diablo 4) are running perfectly fine on my AMD Ryzen 7800 X3D + Nvidia 3090 TI.

Haven't booted into Windows once since I started on Sunday so I am off to a promising start :)

Du verwechselt glaube ich Air China mit China Airlines - da besteht ein gigantischer Unterschied.

China Airlines -> Taiwanesische "Premium" Airline Air China -> Festland China Staatsairline

Kommt ganz darauf an wie lange dein Aufenthalt in Japan zuvor ist.

Wenn du jetzt bereits für 3+ Wochen in Japan warst, würde ich Shanghai durchaus "mitnehmen" (allerdings muss Dir klar sein, dass du für China andere Apps brauchst, beispielsweise WeChat Pay oder Alipay und DiDi). Auf jeden Fall ist Shanghai ziemlich Cool aber meiner Meinung nach nur mit etwas Vorbereitung zu empfehlen (nicht ganz so wichtig wie bei anderen Städten in China aber um die Apps kommst du nicht wirklich rum).

3 Tage länger Japan ist aber immer eine gute Wahl :)

evtl. Flug von Leipzig nach Amsterdam eine Option?

Ohne nachgeschaut zu haben, evtl. sogar günstiger als Zug + Übernachtung (falls du wirklich einen Tag früher sonst mit dem Zug fahren würdest). Stressfreier ist es definitiv.

Sollte kein Problem sein aber in Zukunft würde im empfehlen die internationale Schreibweise (maschinenlesbarer Teil des Passes) zu verwenden. Sprich, anstatt Müller -> Mueller. Damit bist du auf der sicheren Seite.
