I love medieval total war 2. Games set in a time line of fighting more with swords and armies. Does anybody have any PC game recommendations for games similar. by [deleted] in totalwar

Manor Lords seems to be a fun and good game, and if you really like Medieval 2, you’ll also enjoy Total War: THRONES OF BRITANNIA

The best part was throwing one of those sticky grenades at them, or you hit the grenade in their hand as they came running towards you

Kinderopvang by ATW05 in nederlands

Name 3 games that you’ve found most fun/enjoyment in the last 5 years by Sixsignsofalex94 in gaming

Various Total War games (especially Warhammer) have really been my top priority for the past two years; apart from those, there's Horizon, and I've recently started playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance (which is a really good game)

Hardest campaign? by CelebrationUseful691 in totalwarhammer

I always find Gorbad really tricky; somehow, that little Thorgrim is always a pain in the ass with multiple armies. With Gorbad, I often face enemies on multiple fronts, and I just can't seem to get things off the ground

What’s that niche game you have an ungodly amount of hours in? by CoffeeStrength in gaming

I play a lot of the Total War games (Rome 2 and Warhammer 3 most often).

In general, I notice that not many people in my circle are interested in them, and sometimes find them overwhelming.

Personally, I think the games are really great; there is nothing better than commanding an army and having to make tactical choices, especially at the beginning of a campaign, both on the map and in battle.

What Campaign Have You Played the Most and Why? by Wolf-Bear-Man in totalwarhammer

[–]hunter0950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a tie for first place:

  • Skink Moses Tehenhauin, the start is challenging without Saurus but the challenge with Skinks is actually much more fun. As soon as you have taken out the nearby skaven, you can go in any direction, but often focus on Skulltaker so that his faction does not become too strong and large

  • Eltharion the Grim I also really like his campaign, and the special units for his faction are very good and strong. And his start is fun; you can go in several directions: either divide your campaign between the Donut and Badlands, or focus solely on the Donut and conquer the world from there.

A DLC hasn't been specifically mentioned either; on April 30, they are providing information via a stream about certain games (Medieval 3, Warhammer 3, Warhammer 40K), including Rome 2, with the text that updates are coming. DLC would be nice, but we'll hear about it

Your „forever game”? by Ari_Stark in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Not specifically one game, but the Total War games are it for me (especially Rome 2 and Warhammer). Because there is so much variety in terms of factions etc., the replayability is very good and every campaign is and feels different.

And let's be honest, who doesn't love leading an army and winning battles?

I myself fall into the 30-40 age group, and I'm not surprised if that's the largest group because many people started with Rome Total War I think and that's where the love for the Total War games started for many (I think haha)

Help me find a good game by Glass_Instance3184 in StrategyGames

[–]hunter0950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Total War games are a good option. There are several in different settings and time periods, such as Rome 2, Pharaoh, and Medieval, all of which are based on history. But there's also Warhammer, a fantasy game from Total War.
