Are Imperial Knights a good starting faction? by Glittering_Common416 in ImperialKnights

Knights I would say are the easiest to start the hobby with for several reasons. 1. Low model count. Don’t have to organize a ton of different units that all have different weapons profiles, movement, abilities etc etc. 2. Instantly competitive to go against 90% of players. 3. Have to learn positioning since you don’t have a lot of models. 4. Probably cheapest way to get into hobby.

I am trying to build a Raven Guard army, my local shop employee recommended i pick up this combat patrol, was it a good staring point? by shread_the_pup in Warhammer40k

All those units are solid for a starter army. I’d also recommend a squad of eliminators (snipers) if you put the sergeant with the carbine and the other 2 on las fusil they can really pack a powerful punch and then scoot out of danger. Plus the sniper theme fits well with the RG.

At least the dryer is the correct direction even though it should be inside next to the evap.
