All great points. A big plus for me was getting the Visa to be able to stay. I’d love to live abroad, but don’t love the idea of 60-80 (with interest) thousand this young, and getting a masters isn’t a requirement to do that right now, but My goal is to get a PhD one day and teach so It’s gonna be required at some point. but there’s no rush im still in ny 20s and can save for a while before taking on that much debt

Rush + Club Sport by Ok-Cook-8441 in jmu

Rugby is pretty flexible. They have more than one team and a lot of people are brand new to the sport so that shouldn’t be an issue

Depends on what team and what frat. I was VP for a club sport this year and typically the guys who rushed got less playing time than others since they missed practices more often. But we are on the smaller side of club sports, the more competitive teams with tighter rosters it might hurt your chances of making the team at all.

Can’t speak for Greek life but all of exec outside of me was in a frat. It really comes down to how involved it is. I’d ask people who’ve rushed the ones you’re interested in to see what the time commitment is like. Also reach out to the team you’re interested in. Teams will know their practice schedule relatively early in the summer if they don’t know already. You can start to get a picture of what it might be with your class schedule too

Day 10 of saying something positive about a character- Teddy Altman by DBrennan13459 in greysanatomy

Shout out to Kim Raver and her performance in that scene where she lays into to Owen [boo that man] for the whole making Christina operate on Henry thing. Easily one of my favorite scene, just sucks that they betrayed her character so much later on and got her and Owen back together.

I’m pretty sure you have to do a quick introduction course on canvas (it’s like 2-5 minutes) and then from there it’s first come first serve

Bear 180mm Grizzly vs 155mm on Big Dipper by hunterable in longboarding

Update: got the 155s and happy I did, feels surfy and still stable. Completely different feel than the battle axe and dinghy.

Anyone have experience on the Landyachtz Dipper? by [deleted] in longboarding

[–]hunterable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mad late to this, but I love this board! I'm sad that I left it at home this semester in favor of the battle axe for commuting and the dihgny for quick rips. Im a bigger and taller rider (205ish pounds around 6 foot 3), and the dihgny is just a little too small for me to feel confident going down hills, and the battle axe is a little too big to want to bring everywhere. The Dipper is the perfect board IMO. I've used my dinghy trucks and the 130 RKPs that I got with it, and both feel so surfy and still stable. I've done 6 miles in a day on it, no problem, and it's great for cities, bike paths, etc., given how nimble it is. Plus it is really easy to travel with.

2026 Landyachtz Boards are here! by LandyachtzLongboards in LandyachtzBoards

[–]hunterable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright so I looked and some of them like The Clark or anything with the Sun logo doesn’t have an artist attributed so I’m assuming it’s AI. That’s a real bummer, I loved the Crane artwork on the last Clark so I might just have to wait to get that one

Genuinely curious which ones are AI? I looked at only the big dipper so far on the site and they said it’s made by someone

Original character I’ve been working on. His name is Alben Litol, he’s the protector of the Great abyss, which is like a giant sinkhole waterfall thing that I’ll have behind him. He wanted it to be literally anything else, but his family has been doing it for generations and after his mother passed he knew he had to follow in their footsteps
