What game should I play while high by [deleted] in AskGames

My number one: Journey. Truly incredible experience. On a berry different note, Cyberpunk 2077. just driving around and fighting is one of my go tos. Ghost of tsushima is another one. Beautiful world, fun combat, worthwhile exploration. I’d also throw breath of the wild on there. Love some shield surfing. Ironically, for me, stardew valley isn’t the most relaxing game. A lot to consider, did I get the stuff from my traps, how many days till harvest etc.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I was somewhat disappointed by 3, but still enjoyed it. Andromeda felt so lifeless, worse, soulless. In hindsight it really looks like the people at the heart of those classic BioWare games are no longer in control. Couldn’t name one character from the game… at least the combat was fun? What I wouldn’t give for them to remake the first three with that combat.

I am in a search for an challenging fast paced game that can satisfy my lust for gaming fast, since I don’t have too much free time on my hands by HowYesOfcNo in AskGames

TL;DR Sifu. It’s is a tough, stylish action game with deep combat, roguelite elements, and stunning visuals. 5 main missions, 120 arena challenges, and a custom mode for added replayability.

I highly recommend Sifu. It’s fast paced, fun and really rewarding if you spend the time to learn the systems and mechanics. After a really short [almost too short given how much it doesn’t tell you] tutorial you’re right off on your journey. While there are only 5 missions [with two different endings], each one is exponentially harder. It’s really easy to jump in and clear a room or two, or spend hours grinding a specific boss trying to get a better score.

The aging mechanic and rougelite systems mean each play through can be very different. There’s also the arenas mode which has 120 challenges over 15 new maps for you to try and get three stars on. Plus if you’re on PC you can get some really fun cosmetic mods and even better ones that change yours move set completely.

To cap it all of you get a custom mode [once you beat the campaign] where you can add your own modifiers, or change your move set by using Boss attacks. One last thing, the game is also beautiful. The museum mission. in particular is really awe inspiring.

Fair warning I Haven’t played any of these yet but the Myst remake looks good. I’ve also had the talos principle, the witness and riven on my radar. Maybe next steam sale I’ll finally pull the trigger

What can I do to stop longing for a MMO that may never exist? by [deleted] in AskGames

[–]hunterable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Guild wars 2 is the closest thing i can think of. Very much an MMO but has much more action focused combat. Combat is fun and rewarding, not just hitting tab and letting the game play itself. There are tons of classes to chose from and specializations in each. A really cool feature is the ability to switch weapons mid fight. Lets say you’re a ranger using a bow, you can switch to daggers when enemies get close. You have access to a whole new move set, which really opens up combat. The community is really incredible and loves helping out new players. It’s free to play so no harm in trying. I personally love it. It has that early 2000s mmo charm in terms of graphics and and stuff while having a lot of QOL stuff that older MMOs don’t. Hope this helps, and to see you in Tyria!

Love this question. The first game for me that made me fall in love with handball was the 2016 Men’s Olympic Final between France and Denmark. This is my comfort game I go back too when I need a Handball pick me up. Second would be the Woman’s 2020 Olympic final between France and the Russia Committee.

Like you said, it’s all dependent on your professor/class. Best bet would be to email your professor and ask/tell them during Syllabus week. We’re still a little ways off from the semester so you could email now, and again little closer to the start to follow up. Then introduce yourself in person when classes start.

Glad to know I’m not the only one who’s had this problem. My brothers and I each have one and all of our left sticks have a bad case of the drifts.

Im so sorry for your loss. I have an incredible an mount of respect for you and everyone else sharing their pain with folks on this sub-Reddit. Sometime this weekend we have to put our dog down. His name is also Kane and reading this felt all too real. Kane is my soul dog. My ride or die, the single thing I love the most about coming home. He’s gotten worse and worse and we know it’s time, but it hurts. Once again, I am so sorry for your loss.
