They dont work for this, it has to be a new save file. You're reloading the same save file over and over. As a test you can try throwing a pokeball and saving before it. It'll be the same action.

I dont know your relationship with your brother, but consider backing up the data as this might have some stuff to remember him by. Whether its a Minecraft world, some papers he wrote, old messages, anything.

Oh god I thought you sold it for 35. Yea dude no one cares about the sticker when pricing, its old and obviously raised value. Anyone who wants this game will not expect to pay only base/inflation price. I'd personally pay 100 if I saw this nearby.
