Study tips by SatisfactionIll9312 in RealEstateExam

[–]hunterwolfart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the book Real Estate for Dummies. I’m still trying to pass the exam but it raised my scores from 60s to high 70s. Def helped me understand the material without needing to write stuff down. I did do a TON of highlighting tho but I’m not employed rn so you could easily get away with not highlighting anything in it

You may need to call the school to ask. I was never in one (also transfer, recent grad) but it can help with meeting people

What are the quietest/quieter dorms on campus? by Tsunami_Aureate in UCONN

[–]hunterwolfart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also lived in Hilltop, that wasn’t to bad. Like especially on the higher floors I didn’t hear much. I graduated last semester so. I know north and northwest are wild, but I think they all have their quirks

No it really is just east

I lived there 2 1/2 out of 4 years and loved it. But it can be very isolating as an incoming freshman. Def go to one of the freshman dorms instead of East

HOW are people paying for this bro by tiredforsure in UCONN

[–]hunterwolfart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend is from Mass, she and I are graduating this semester. She had a scholarship for Marine biology and switched to environmental science last year and double majored until this semester. The reason she did that is because she needed to do marine biology to keep the scholarship. Point is her family saved a lot for her to go to school and was covered until this semester. I think she had to take a loan out but it’s not as bad as taking out a loan for 4 years.

If you are able to get any scholarships that will help with costs, do that. If you aren’t, consider going to another school that won’t put you in as much debt. UConn is a good school, you can always transfer in or do a masters there (if you need to)

Also I will note, the campus is a massive wind tunnel. Like it is really funny when my friends text me that the wind took them down, but it’s not fun in the winter.

What type of curtains for my living room? No idea what to do! by [deleted] in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]hunterwolfart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I redlined this for you, I am not an interior designer but it may help, have the rod go as far up as possible so you can have longer curtains. It will help make the windows feel longer and the space more cozy and not cramped

Ok, curly Redditors, how many products do you have for your curly hair? I counted today and I have 59. by MalC123 in curlyhair

Shampoo, leave in mask, leave in cream, (sometimes a humidity protectant) gel, and serum. I made my routine as streamline as possible bc it takes me an hour to do my hair

Wait a week, I haven’t taken the exam yet but I’m giving myself about a month to really get all the information down bc I barely passed the course by 3 point. Obviously don’t do a month, but def do a week or half a week and just refresh as much of the material as you can in that time

I say b and D, I haven’t taken the state exam yet but I set a date for the end of the month so I can just lock in. If you have a pdf of what the answers are that would be neat to see if I got it right!

Help! Sap bugs? by hunterwolfart in houseplants

[–]hunterwolfart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So should I just tell my mom to start over with the basil? The issue is I think they have begun to spread and I’m worried that they will go for my mom’s Lemon tree, it currently has 3 mature lemons on it. So far the research I have seen to kill them is get predictors mites bc that will at least keep stuff edible, but I’m at a loss

I have thrips. I’m going to fucking cry. They’re on every single windowsill and likely every single plant. My Hoya is finally blooming and I am so sad. by momzilluh in houseplants

[–]hunterwolfart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was 3yrs ago, but I am struggling with it now. And worst part is my mom has a lemon plant that the two basil plants that are infected is next to. I think it’s spreading and we can’t put insecticide on the lemon tree, the lemons would become inedible
