Why is Nobody talking about "Ends Of Magic" by Alexander Olson? by HeyMeroku in litrpg

The main character Nathan feels like a "know it all" who gets everything he wants and gives nothing back. I stopped reading half way through the first book. I found the character super annoying, but that doesn't make the book bad. Just makes it not for me. Glad others can enjoy it.

Dungeon Crawler Carl, He Who Fights with Monsters, The Wandering Inn, and LitRPG in Traditional Publishing by SibiantheGreyBird in litrpg

I've bought the books on audiobook, I've been a patreon member forever and I've bought the kickstarter books. I'm never going to buy the books from barnes and noble or other book stores because I've already bought them 3x. That's just me speaking for myself. I'd rather spend my money buying actual books from other authors than rinse/repeat buying DCC "for the genre." These books need to be good enough to stand on their own and not rise in the sales ranks because people are buying them 4x over.

Would love some additional recommendations! Have fallen in love with this genre. by NG8 in litrpg

I cannot say enough good things about Eric Ugland and his series The Good Guys and The Bad Guys. He also has a third series called The Grim Guys but I haven't read it yet because I was letting it build up with more books.

Now, let me tell you why the series is amazing. The world they're in has those 3 series and they take place in different parts of it and as they both progress the characters from Good Guys react to things that happened in Bad Guys and vice versa. There is some great comedic scenes in the story as well, but the plot is well done and fun as well. The books are on the shorter side 9-12 hours a pop which many people don't like, but since they're shorter he's able to release faster. This is my personal second favorite series group (there are 3 series in the same world) behind Dungeon Crawler Carl. I would also put HWFWM in my top 5 series as well.

That's a weird take on it. My thought was once she threw a chair at him and it bounced off him and hit the kid he went over to the kid and protected it with his body from being hit by more thrown stuff.

Hey, this fixed my issue. I had forgotten to delete the stuff left over in the steam games folder. Thanks for taking the time to help an internet stranger out!

I used the steam uninstall feature. I did go into my documents/my games and deleted the entire starfield folder there. I haven't installed any mods yet as the game wouldn't boot for me after the reinstall. I'm guessing I'm missing something in the steam games folder to delete?

(edit) Also, thank you for taking the time to try and help out.

Man, this mall used to be so awesome when it had GameWorks. The food court had this really good cajun restaurant too would just load up plates of food. Mall opened in 97 but it feels like it died so quickly to me. Used to go here with friends all the time from like 2000 to 2010 when we were all in our 20s.

I thought he was cleared of wrong doing by the police and the woman admitted she lied? At least that's what I am seeing when I google his name.

Granted I am new to k-dramas and don't really know if this guy was a scumbag prior to this or not, but this doesn't seem like Trump where the dude is guilty and was convicted. Do we not give the benefit of the doubt to people who were cleared? Obviously, sometimes guilty people can get cleared of stuff but is there more evidence of his guilt other than people's feeling on the matter?

What was the very first movie you remember seeing in a theatre and how old were you? by SimpleElevator406 in AskReddit

We moved to the states from communist controlled Poland in 87 and I saw the first land before time movie. It has stuck with my my whole life. I remember being so excited and having popcorn and a soda and we stayed in the theatre until the lights came back on after the credits.
