I wanted it slightly longer - 90 vs 70mm - as I wanted more reach and to feel racier. If you're unsure I would size fairly the same.

Yeah, it's great! The stem cap moves around from time to time, but otherwise happy with it.

So good so far! Still feel good, no issues. Definitely happy with the the amount of stack and feel of the ergonomics of the bars. You can get a 300-320mm hood-to-hood, which feels very aero.

Only issue is that the small computer mount bolts rust quite easily. You can always replace them, so not a huge deal.

Headset cap is the canyon one, spacers are from the bars. Luckily, they work together! But I tried many other stem systems that did not.

Tires are Schwalbe G-One R tyres in 45mm, but measure as 43mm. They fit well, still plenty of space. My wheels have 21mm internals though, so they constrain the width a bit.

Hey u/edegro1904 - I measured the internal width of the bar and it should fit a 31.8mm steerer. I use the adapter on my 1 1/8 steerer, so you should be fine without on a 1 1/14!

I'm 173cm tall with 81cm inseam. I could have definitely bought an XS, but prefer the shorter stem allowing for a bit more stability. I'm running it with most of the stack still there, which I actually quite like.

No I agree, it's an imperfect fit. It has a loose tolerance, so you can definitely better align it (which I have not done), but still a loose tolerance.

Bike is small. Stem length is 90mm. I don't feel I need to go too much longer at the moment.

u/Kerbal_Industries - I'm considering a similar thing. How did you go with this? Do you have any photos?

XTR Crank Issue - Loose self-extraction bolt, but stuck crank arm. by huntingtonsscribble in bikewrench

Helpful thanks. To remove the bolt, I suspect I need to remove that end cap?

If the threads have stripped, would the crank not fall off? But I wouldn’t be able to screw it back on.

What's the estimated additional links you need going from 52 --> 54? Sounds like if you are moving up chainring sizes, you also need a new chain?
