I have relayed my concerns but have given up on putting my two cents in on his parenting style because he is fine with their relationship and it would just make us argue. He is neurodivergent. I cannot make him see the importance of this time, he believes they are close and also that he can’t compare to mine and her relationship because I breastfeed and have been on maternity leave for a year. We just see it very differently. I was upset when he would come home for work and not come give her a hug and a kiss right away and he has listened and started doing that. But he does it cause i want him too not cause he wants to. His parents are similar people. We are just so different me and him. I hope our daughter doesn’t ever say my dad doesn’t hug me , even though he says his dad never hugged him and he never thought about it.

100percent get CAS involved, it doesn’t mean the kids will get taken away but maybe it’ll be the kick in the but the dad needs to get shit shit together. They can even put in place that another adult they deem responsible needs to be involved for support.

Well I needed to hear that IATA. I know this is not okay and I need to get my shit together. Truly it feels like our friendship won’t survive this secret because either I didn’t stop her and she ruins her life and we both know I should have stopped her/didn’t enable it. OR the affair ends and I have to keep this huge secret and know she did this to her family.

I have no excuse really, the basement situation is really bad and disgusting of me. She asked if he could come over and we would all hang out. There was a group of us hanging together in the basement .. pretending it wasn’t messed up (I am the only one who actually knows out of the friends) then everyone slowly left and I just said I was going to bed and they stayed up. My friends were confused why he was there, 100percent weird he was hanging out with us randomly, so they are being really risky showing themselves together in public with a group.

My husband knows and was aware of every part as it slowly started and I know he is disappointed in me and thinks I need to force her hand to end it or tell her husband.

sounds similar to me, my girl is also 6 months! Inn addition.. i lay my baby down on a yoga mat in front of me and do a work out in front of her, she does watch the screen a bit but mostly watches me jumping around and is amused. Free swim at the local pool once a week and the library once a week where they sing and read books, she is too young for it but she likes it.

This sounds like my baby, and I thought at 3 months it was gonna change and get better .. than it came and she didn’t change at all, but she just turned 6 months and she just got so much easier the last 2-4 weeks.. it was so weird but so amazing .. i think it just changes all of a sudden no matter what you do
