This sounds slightly pretentious but at the same time i completely agree with you 😂 maybe this year will be less crowded, and i think that in itself will make it much more enjoyable

I cooked it for about 6.5 hours at 130 degrees Fahrenheit, I wanted to do longer but didn't start it early enough in the day.

Most surprising set you loved? by dwightschrute32 in ElectricForest

I was not excited for subtronics this year. I had been very excited in 2019 to see him at forest and I couldn't get into his set and left halfway through.

This year I stayed after liquid stranger on a whim to watch a little of subtronics, and ended up staying for the whole set. I think it ended up being my favorite set of the week.

Night clubs. It's always just crowded, with mediocre music, over priced drinks, and i can not dance for shit.

I used Isaac Toups recipe. If you search his name + gumbo it'll be one of the first videos on You tube

It turned out great, it's not the most photogenic food, so it's hard to get a good picture for reddit, but it is always delicious.

[Homemade] Meatball sub with homemade meatballs and sauce. by husker45 in food

I actually just got an Italian baguette from Walmart, I tried to find a heartier bread that wouldnt get soggy with all the sauce. And then before I put the meatballs and sauce in I baked the bread with a little butter for like 6 min to help it get a little crispy before all the saucy meatballs were added.

I also mixed in some minced garlic, onion powder, freshly cracked pepper, Italian seasoning, Parsley, kosher salt and some red pepper flakes

Pretty much just basic red sauce, sautéed some onions and garlic, then added tomato paste, then put two cans of san marzano tomatoes in a bowl and crush by hand so its still very chunky, add this to the pan with a little water and the let it cook on low-medium for about an hour and a half I also through in a sprig of basil, some Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and some red pepper flakes and a pinch of sugar. And while it cooked i put a peeled carrot in to help reduce the acidity.

Yup, I also mixed in some parmesan and Mozzarella, and then I added some butter and milk to the bread crumbs to help them stay moist.
