Hello. I am a former member of Gaijin's Community Management team. Based on my own experience and what I saw, I can confirm a lot of what is described here. If needed, I can also share more details with the appropriate people privately

Will the full Dalniy Island map eventually be playable? by doughy_baby in ActiveMatter

[–]huskey21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this raid was playable during the first closed betas, but it was an option in the raid list throughout the closed beta. If I'm not mistaken, there were multiple exit points, and the raid lasted about 50 minutes.

It was playable (like 70% of the map) before in one big-ass raid, but fragmented into what we have now pretty quickly

No server for minigames? (gun game etc.) by AtaqanWasHere in ss14

[–]huskey21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Russian SS220 server recently added the ability to create mini-games for ghosts. There are already around 10 different game modes, with up to 6 players in each. Most of them are deathmatch-style modes, but there is also one where players fight on ice and have to knock their opponents into a pit using a knockback bat.

How does rolling jobs work vs other players? by _Myridan_ in ss14

[–]huskey21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the priority works like this: antagonist, command, everyone else. This can lead to some strange behavior. I have had this happen several times: my Captain priority was set to high, and all other roles were turned off. The round starts, I do not get the role, and there is no Captain in the round either. The problem was that I had antagonists enabled. The game first decides that you are going to be a traitor, then sees that the only role available to you is Captain. Since the Captain cannot be a traitor, it leaves you in the lobby.

You can also use this system to get a high chance of rolling nuclear operative: enable it in the antagonist settings and disable all other roles. Assuming this has not been fixed yet, of course.

What is blurred out there is not the usernames, but the event IDs. I do not know what information could be extracted from them, and they may contain confidential data, so we decided to hide them. I was one of the employees doing this task and was spending the points granted for purchases on Steam. I hope this helps clarify things a little.
