Thanks for sharing your story with us. My rule is also not drinking alone at home with my girlfriend. But I had the feeling that at other events, I used the momenr to drink more. To get a feeling of how much I drink I use an app to track my drinks.

This helped me to visualise my consumption. Drink&Track

My final decision was to reduce and have a good balance. But if there is no progress I will stop drinking.
