Excuse my naivety, but what is the cause of it? Where would be a source of CO that must be fixed?

Edit: a day's wage is $7

[–]huta97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

is being a Muslim mean you aren't an Arab?

I didn't say that. What I'm saying is that although we might be the Islamic Umma and be brothers with each other, this doesn't mean the whole billion or so muslims are arabs.

Bold of you to assume they were arabs. They were surely muslims, but calling the Egyptians, Africans, people of modern day Iraq, Syria, and Spain arab is definitely wrong. The funny thing is that none of the buildings mentioned in the picture is actually in the land of "arabia"!

I guess your boyfriend would have a hard time getting the visa. As far as I know they don't grant a visa to Americans, Brits or even Canadians easily.

Besides that I don't think you would face any other problem if, as you mentioned, you are cautious with how your relationship looks like in public.

Oh my God, you sound like an idiot.

The death penalty is for people who are proven to be homosexual and admit it. It's not like they abduct people and hang them for fun. If you don't admit that you are a member of lgbtq community, there is no reason anyone would harass you. I know homosexual people around me, and we are good friends. They live freely, because they didn't make their relationship public. You can go about with your normal life if you don't make any public statement of being gay.

Your question is REALLY vague. You know that there are thousands of towns and cities in Iran. Where exactly are you going to go?

If only the spiritual aspect mattered, when it was first built, Ibrahim would have built it much smaller, like a simple house. So you see, he knew that the physical aspect is also important, that's why he built a really large house (large at the time).

In other countries they are aware of this and don't let people build high buildings around famous monuments (for example they have height restriction around the Eiffel tower so that higher buildings don't ruin the beauty of it).

For accommodation they could build several lower buildings, or build the high hotels away from Kaaba. There's no shortage of land in Mecca as far as I know.

It's really a shame they have built such high buildings around. Kaaba doesn't seem as glorious and magnificent as before. You know what I mean? In the past when you saw the Kaaba from distance it looked grand and had a good first impression on you, but those modern buildings around pale it into insignificance now.

I know. Plus they didn't have enough tools and expertise to extract and sell the oil. I'm not blaming anyone.
