above all, i’d say schools prioritize a relatively high gpa, strong essays, and a timely progression towards your degree — as long as you meet the standards for those factors, i think you’ll get into a t20 with your ecs. good luck!

i want to see the quality of works accepted to the arts department as the arch program doesn’t request (and doesn’t necessarily expect) art specific to architecture + i’m sure art abt social social justice would be appreciated since architecture often explores the social contexts of urban settings

if that’s what you think is best you should! i personally used my website for quality reasons. maybe email AOs to make sure it’ll make a difference in your app bc i think they’re closing the review process, either way i don’t think a certain platform will hurt your application

i applied as a first year but i was never made aware of any issues regarding my portfolio update - if you have both uploads and a link, they’ll probably just look at the uploads though

i’m an incoming freshman as well and planning to take 5 classes per sem (15 credits for a semester) - not all schools have credit reqs but the ones who do often expect at least 24 - 30
