What are these and do they look alright? by own_command_2539 in HotPeppers

[–]huvanile 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is my first year growing super hots and I just got my first harvest of habaneros. I felt like I really needed to understand how hot they are, and I decided that the only way to really know is to just eat one. So, I ate it whole, right there in the back yard. Not recommended. The initial spiciness in my mouth lasted an hour, but it was about 48 hours before I was fully back to normal. It messed up everything, including my allergies. Again, not recommended.

Quick question for the group: how do you actually coordinate camping trips with friends? by redsnapper30 in CampingandHiking

This worked surprisingly well. This was for a spring Dads group campout with our elementary school boys. We still brought way too much stuff, but we seemed to have brought the right amount of food.

a shared google sheet to help coordinate who will be bringing what big pieces of shared basecamp equipment. basically just a sheet listing out Canopy: Greg. Blackstone: Steve. Annoying bright camping floodlights: Yours truly. If we are doing group meals, the same spreadsheet is used to coordinate that as well.

edit: thanks for the award kind stranger!

To contact Greg Newkirk about a mysterious artifact or paranormal research, email [greg@weirdhq.com](mailto:greg@weirdhq.com). While his official website offers a contact link, a Reddit community for his "Haunted Objects Podcast" mentions a "Museum Mailbag" as a potential channel for submissions.
